Re: The Descent
You return back west and take the north tunnel. it connects to the main throne room, as you exit the tunnel into the large cavern.
I need jovan to roll 1d6.

Re: The Descent
As you enter the cavern the hairs on the back of your neck stand up, something isn't right.
suddenly form the darkness comes rushing at you 2 large humanoid creatures that appear to be covered in large nodules and have small horns. behind then come a blue demon wearing chain mail and waving a short sword, and another wearing what appears to be a rather banged up crown and wielding a mace.
from up on the alcove you hear chanting and see two robed demons waving their hands.
roll init and declare actions and which creature you attack.
nothing has less than 1 HD so only 1 attack for everyone.

Re: The Descent
Joven nearly craps himself "Come at me you ugly bastards!" the he charges at the lead creature sword leading the way.
Broad Sword +1/+3 vs Regen Hit[1d20 +1] = 1+1 = 2 Sm/Med Dmg[2d4 +1] = 4+1 = 5 Lrg Dmg[1d6 +2] = 6+2 = 8 but the dice roller appears to want me to die....

Re: The Descent
Gregorius charges towards the bigger creatures as well, "Finally! Let them be purged by our light!"
Gregorius Hammer: [1d20] = 11 Damage: (s/m)[1d4+1] = 4+1 = 5 (L)[1d4] = 4
Initiative: [1d6] = 6

"One step closer to a warm bed and sweet yellow wines for all, let's settle this!" With wand in hand, Ruken uses it on the charging melee combatants just ahead, hoping his wand's effect does its work and leaves his allies out of it. [1d100] = 6

Re: The Descent
Oralorn will fire a magic missile into the robbed figure in the alcove if they are in range:
Magic Missile [1d4+1] = 3+1 = 4
2 robed figures do you fire at left or right

Letholdus will try to flank the larger humanoids and attack the leader behind.
Letholdus's Longsword {THAC0 19} [1d20] = 12; DMG [1d8] = 2 (M), [1d12] = 6 (L)

Save v Pant Crapping
[1d20] = 11
you rolled natural 1, the failed save means you lose your next attack.
roll init

Re: The Descent
The group springs into action perhaps a bit to quickly.
Jovan rushes the chain mail wearing demon but stumbles on the way missing him completely. The demon is still unable to penetrate the rangers armor however
1d20+1=10
Greg and letholdus move to meet the large humanoids and both fail to land a blow.
The one on greg strikes out with it's armored fists one of them landing a blow
1d20=6, 1d20=16
damage = 1d6=1
The other lashes out at letholdus missing both times
1d20=13, 1d20=2
The little demon with the crown and mace rushes Ruk who calls upon his wand.
A thin blue beams strikes out at the demon striking him. Suddenly his charge turns to a crawl, he eventually reaches our gnome hero but not before ruk is able to prepare for melee (slow spell).
oralorn casts his magic missile at the robed figure on the right, the bolt of energy blasts the little demon backwards leaving him laying on his back.
The other robed figure finishes his gesture and points at oralorn (I need a save versus magic)

Re: The Descent
Gregorius takes the hit from the demon, then attempts to side step the creature while it is still finishing it's attack, aiming his hammer towards the side. "Gyaahhhh!!"
Gregorius Hammer: [1d20] = 12 Damage: (s/m)[1d4+1] = 1+1 = 2 (L)[1d4] = 2

Re: The Descent
Joven just lies flat on his face as it apparently is a great defensive position.

Re: The Descent
I wish that were the case lol, I shall have to write a heavily worded stern letter to the Unseen Servant Dice Roller about it's poor management skills in rolling curves.
