Perhaps whichever is closest to our foes last known location, but far enough to approach that position from behind? She muses aloud
Nis grins and waves to the newcomers, her face returning to seriousness as she studies the map.

You all look over the map of the city before you. Clearly marked are three sewer entrances. There are entrances in the center northern part of the city, in the eastern part on the seedier part of town and in the west just north of Mediphera's home. Likely when Mediphera sensed the one below it was because she used that entrance. There are also the two known secret entrances in the caves and in the abandoned building near the scribe's. Those are both heavily guarded and watched. The other three are not so heavily guarded.
Erel Gallowhawk points to each of the secret entrances, "We have the bulk of our guards watching these two. I have 8 men on the three other entrances. Hopefully they won't expect an assault from the three known entrances and you can make use of those whether as one or two groups."
You look over your assembled allies and decide the best strategy going forward.
Niserie did determine the yellow vial is a poison antidote though I forgot to mention that in my reply.

Thena
Pours over the map, to no one in general: I dislike splitting the group but our numbers may find us bunched up and rendered ineffective, on the other hand we have don't know if a split group will rendezvous where and when needed.
Considering there are eight men protecting these three entrances, we could split into two groups, each taking one of the three with the surface guards concentrating on the third with all eight... thoughts?

Mave
Mave also looks over the maps, "I think that is a sound strategy Thena. I too dislike splitting the group but I think we might well cause chaos down-below, which would work to our advantage." She looks to Erel, "Brother what do you think? And would you consider leading the third group?" She then looks to her most trusted companions, Torvik, Bryne and Niserie for their input.

Bryne
"Dangerous, but we are in a position where we seem to need to take some sort of chance. It makes sense even if risky. The next question is how to split up to give us the best chance of succeeding."

Risky indeed, but I agree that we seem to have little chance of success otherwise. If we approach from only one side they may scatter or retreat with their hostages. I think 2 teams is a good idea. She agrees. As for team makeup, we should be careful to have enough healing and fighting ability on each side. And to have someone capable of some kind of stealth might be of advantage as well, such as one of the rangers. She offers

Erel looks to his sister and purses his lips before responding, "Yes, I will lead one group. Whichever the two entrances you decide upon, I will lead my men into the third. But be forewarned, while they may not be expecting a group to enter there, I have no doubt there will be lookouts at all three. So as the Lady Niserie says, stealth will be of the utmost importance."
Lord Gallowhawk adds, "If possible, please bring Adwin back alive. He is our son and your brother and perhaps he can be turned from the path he has chosen. But no matter the cost...the disease below must be eradicated."

Thena
With a smile: Perhaps wait to send someone to your commander in a few days.... I hear the roads and trails are in terrible condition after the storms... best wait until things dry out a bit.
After some thought I think two teams as composed like this are fairly well balanced: Producing a rough sheet of parchment with folks names on it.
Torvik
Kade
Ruskin
Mave
Morwen
Folcard Draven
Gervais Bear Vessen
Athen
Bryne
Nisene
Thena
Valentin Ramos
Bessa
Jacinthe Cresseda
Completely up for discussion.... not like its a wedding or something...

Mave
Mave grimaces, "Could we not mention weddings please..." as she looks over the party listing, "I'm game with the group if Ranger Torvik leads. Didn't Liviel say she was coming though?," looking for the mage.

Bryne
"It seems a good split. I have much faith in everyone. Stay together and bring everyone home."
She prepares to take point on the way in.

"Far, far below the deepest delvings of the dwarves, the world is gnawed by nameless things." ~ J.R.R. Tolkien
Morwen looks from Mave to Torvik, "I would follow either of you. Torvik led me to Lupre safely and for that I am grateful and greatly admire him. While I think it best he take head of the path in case of traps or perhaps Ruskin. As to leadership, I think it only fitting Lady Mave wear that mantle. She is the daughter of the Lord here, so it is only fitting." She then looks to Liviel, "Liv I'd prefer you stay here and guard De'Athyra, lest something befall us below. I will travel more mindful knowing my new sister is safely above."
Athan would have rather stayed near Morwen but as they already had her and the capable warrior Kade there, he had to agree that his place was alongside Thena and Bryne, his half-sister, "I think the split is a good one. Thank you Lady Thena for drawing up a balanced group."
Erel nods, "Well balanced indeed, Lady Thena. I suggest we take the eastern entrance since it is the less desirable side of the town and warriors might be of the most importance there to deal with the rogues where they are likely strongest. I would suggest Mave take the north and Bryne the west. If you all agree that is."

"Sounds reasonable." She will lead the way to the western entrance.

Nis nods, Yes, that indeed seems a fine arrangement. Ummm... might I replenish some ammunition before we return to action? She asks, patting Seabhág.

Thena
Will put on the ring of light: Please, speak up, if there is any other wanting this.
Notions to Folcard Draven and Gervais Bear Vessen: Follow Mave and Torvik's team, follow their lead and orders. Shield them from harm, smite the enemy, and heal those in need. Tempus is with us, honor him.
Notions to Valentin Ramos, Bessa, and Jacinthe Cresseda: Your with our team. Bessa, stay toward the middle please. Valentin and Jacinthe, bring up the rear for now. Hail Tempus!
Holding her hands up on the air, speaking toward both groups: Tempus, let us bring light where it is needed, bless our actions!
Follows Bryne when everyone is situated and ready to go.
OCC: Sheet update with Ring of Light.

"Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you." ~ Friedrich Nietzsche
Niserie is led to the armory of the compound where she freely replenishes her ammo supply. Should any others have need of supplementing their weapons they are free to do so. (Any common weapons will be available.) After which, the three groups go their separate ways, Lord Gallowhawk seeing them off with his well wishes for success. Folcard and Bear nod at Thena's instructions, Bear merely shaking his head yes with Folcard stating his gruff voice, "Their lives are under my protection and I will sacrifice my life to save theirs if need be and Tempus wills it." Erel, with a contingent of guards starts making his way the farthest to the east side of town, after sharing a brief hug with his sister Mave.
Mave then looks her group over, "Torvik and your recruits in the lead please, Morwen by my side followed by the two good priests of Tempus, will be our marching order to begin, if that is agreeable." Morwen takes a moment to embrace her adopted sister Liviel and then share a quiet conversation with Athan, briefly touching his hand as she leaves. This group starts their journey northward, which takes a bit of a walk. Eventually, far to the north side of the city they reach an open grate surrounded by eight guards. Stone steps lead downward into the darkness.
Bryne leads her group on the shortest journey to the western entrance. Niserie briefly glances at Mediphera's house as they pass it, a lone light visible through a window on the second floor. As they get in eyesight of the entrance, which consists of a round manhole around which are gathered five men dressed in the uniform of Gull's Landing's guards. They have already removed the cover and on one side is a rusty ladder leading down in the darkness. One of the guards a young man wearing a sparse beard and mustache, who you assume must be in charge remarks, "Oh, is Lady Mave not in this group?"
