The Dice Roller is a separate system to the main forum, with its own login, so your forum ID won't work there. Try the forgotten password routine, your old Roller ID is probably in there, just slightly different to your Unseen Servant login.
The campaign ID for the Dice Roller is 855, if you'd rather start fresh with a new ID.
The formula for a dice macro is: [_2d6]
Leon is not visiting the Aslan's hangar. He's planting comdots as listening devices in the Serpent's hangar to record the Aslan when they visit to assess your cargo tomorrow.
Later on, everyone will visit the Aslan together.

How about locating items on the shopping list (mechanical and electronic) for restoring the shipyard repair bot, the security disk and Arnwulf’s mount?
Could the security disc have any weapons capabilities, or is it just surveillance?
I’d want a wireless controller or hand computer connection to each of them.
Tiv will propose to the group that we get two identical large industrials in which to store weapons. We can start today with regular two or three times per day preprogrammed runs with these. “cleaning runs” to desensitize the rotten kitties. When we get them, we could even put video bugs and recorders on them.
Large Industrial is bigger again. It would be tricky getting one around on a ship, they are designed for large spaces, but you could hide a person in the hopper. Cr20,000.

Another note on the blast-door emergency protocol:
The help file adds that in the event of fire, the affected section will be sealed and flooded with an inert gas. Chemical contamination will be dealt with by sealing the section’s air circulation/recycling system, analysis of threat and either filtration or venting of the contaminated air. Radiation protocol is to seal the sector off from the interior of the station. Outer doors (if there are any), leading to open space, can be operated by authorised personnel. The doors leading into the station will not unseal unless the radiation level drops below the hazard threshold.

After this, he may head over to the canteen to have a few beers / he feels like a bit of a loose micro chip in a broken ZX81 at the moment.
That's cos you're not shooting at anything from a blaster turret.
I too am feeling like a Vic 20 who hopes to achieve Commadore 64 status.
Bear with us fellow travelers. We're a work in progress, but we've got your backs:)

Sorry I have been absent a bit. I work in 'adult education', actually running a company that teaches forklift driving, MHE skills and industrial cleaning to offenders in prison in the hope they get jobs and rehabilitate into society upon release.
But the prison bureaucracy and prisoners are a bit messed up and they are extra curriculum reports I have to do when issues arise.

IRL problems take priority.
And, we don't run to deadlines here anyway, as you have probably noticed.
I noticed, looking through character sheets, that nobody has the skill Remote Operations, which is the most appropriate one for controlling robots.
Kar has JOT 3, so effectively has Remote Ops 0. He is the best choice for controller (especially with Regina as assisstant - she has Sensors 3).
Another option might be to buy and install a sophisticated brain into one of the robots, endowing it with an AI capable of autonomous problem-solving - then it could carry out instructions using its own skill. Of course, as well as the brain, you would need some Expert software in the relevant abilities, which again you would need to buy.
The brain will be tens of thousands, the software thousands.

Don't look at Raven for help there!
Perhaps we could make bids with something like (Book 1) Electronics or maybe Comms (if any have it)?

Well done fixing your login to the Roller Lee.
I've had the same problem of missing notifications, Tiglath. Mysterious. Sometimes they just stop, for no apparent reason, then reappear. Once they had started going to Spam, though.
I'll accept bids and rolls on any skill you can make a case for. Including Mechanic.
The old robots need new power packs, new sensors, new motors, new "brains", and new software. Plus any other electronics etc. (i.e. comms) you want.
Writing code is a big task, especially as Oghma does not use robots, so no PC has experience with programming one, so that is a matter of installing bought-in code.
I've been waiting for Arnwulf and/or Remington to lead off with an assessment of the task (including possibly saving some components), but we can just start rolling for each characters contribution to the work.

A rather messy post I'm afraid.
I decided to just get this up, rather than fiddle with it any longer.
I'll edit/explain as necessary.

Some components might be salvageable, some can be done without, the rest can be replaced.
It is possible the Security Disc and Mount have recoverable memory, so you may be able to save on software for them. However, you might not want a Sindalian robot to reactivate with its original programming
Dice rolls for fixing, cash for new parts (Kar could try rolling on Broker if you're buying new).

Tiv devotes a few minutes to helping modify the on-hand equipment
using all his skillsets:
Sensors/comm/eng-electronics:
The commdot conversion is straightforward and can be assumed complete (and Leon has placed them, with advice from Áshildr), so this roll is banked for use on robot repair.
Anyone who wants to work on the faulty robots, select a system and roll for it.
The basic task of analysing/repairing or replacing/installing a component takes 1d6x10 minutes and there are 3 hours available before Ummiimir’s event.
Rushing the job takes 1d6 minutes and gives -1. Taking care is 1d6 hours, and +1 to skill (there is a chance the task will not be completed in time)
Up to two people can work on one component, the assistant adds the effect of their roll to the principal’s, and reduces the time taken by the same amount (i.e. an assistant rolling 9 adds +1 to the task and takes -1 off the time die).
As the list above shows there are several options for replacement parts, with different levels of sophistication. You may not need to replace all the parts on all the robots – some may be repairable, so an analysis/repair check is the first task on anything expensive to buy new.
EDIT
NPC's can be claimed as an assistant or assigned a task by players, or I'll appoint them to something.

Bjartr from the warband has Mechanic 1 while Ingunn has Mechanic 0.
Raven is a Gunsmith by trade whereas a couple of her Warriors are Armourer 0 but these skills seem less specific to the repairs.

Well, Arnwulf/Bluetongue has not responded to a PM for a week now, so I shall NPC them temporarily.
Does anyone have a priority for the repair/refit of the security disc and/or mount? I'll work up their restoration tomorrow and post on Monday.

OK, I've waited long enough, it looks like Bluetongue/Arnwulf has dropped out. I'll NPC him for now, and advertise for a new player.
Since nobody has a preference on the rebuild, I'll get that done off-screen and post the result, then we can move along to Ummiimir's.

OOC not sure if you can carry arms openly on the station (I am sure it has been mentioned)...if not then perhaps Leon can take a small pistol from the ship's locker.
You can openly carry any weapon you like. Using it will bring consequences, though.
Sal and her crew all openly wear swords and sidearms. Ummiimir and Soraia appeared to be unarmed.
I believe Leon has visited Blackrock before, so would know that personal weapons are commonly worn, partly to indicate you are a professional in the violence like of work (not a merchant), partly to discourage other such folk from pursuing that trade with you.
Carrying assault weapons around causes suspicion. Makes other pirates think you expect or intend trouble, and may cause some to pre-empt the perceived threat.
