Alanis quickly paces back and forth, muttering to himself in Elven, "Such heathens, not knowing the majesty of his Kingship... sick nasty dirty heathens... I must show them the way.. yes... must show them the path that is the rat king." he suddenly stops and looks at the orcs, now speaking in Orcish, "Who is the rat king? A good question, stupid, yet good. I shall tell you my master if you tell me yours first. If not then... We will begin melting your friend here..." A mad gleam enters the elfs eyes as he raises a hand and points to a space just above the orc on the ground. He smiles at the other orc, speaking in orcish, "Well?"

One orc speaks up "My wife would be my master." The other orc just closes his eyes likely wishing he has not stationed in this tunnel extension of the cave today.

Alanis, in orcish, "Oh? And is your wife the one leading the orcs and kidnapping the townsfolk, making them dig in the mines? I think not! Your wife is probably rotting in the ground, food for the worms, by your true master. You get one more try before I start, I don't mind having fun with your friend by testing out my powers, I can take my time with you."

Theodore Mumfordian (Half Sylvanian Wood-Elf) Ranger lvl:5 HP 21/21 AC 5):

Theodore will be with Thifli & Dune, which is I guess, in the chamber north from the Orcs, since we already been there.

North of the X but not too far just out of the orcs eyesight essentially then.

From the Northern tunnel you all ran past to get to the orcs can be heard something rumbling. it's starting to get louder and does not sound like normal walking. It sounds like something maybe rolling? Like a stone wheel or wagon wheel if it were made of something more solid than wood.

Theodore Mumfordian (Half Sylvanian Wood-Elf) Ranger lvl:5 HP 21/21 AC 5):

Perhaps we should move to the side by going to the the north passage that goes west & spying what is coming down the north/south facing passage?

Everyone not with Alanis ducks out of the way and just in time to see a strange sight coming down the unexplored tunnel from the North West.

Puts a finger to his lips to "shh's" & motions to hold back & let the jabberwocky Juggernaut thing-a-ma-jing go past, for the moment.

Thifli: "I would say take the wheeled beast down, but there may be slaves inside moving that...thing. Perhaps once it passes we can see if we can all hop on for a ride?"

Eirik stares blankly at the....THING that come rumbling past. He tries to express his shock and wonderment at it, but no mere words can express the utter confusion that wraps around his brain. Never, in all his life, has he been able to conceive of even the concept of such a thing. As his breath slowly returns, his first instinct is to charge and kill such an unholy monstrosity, but his companions unperturbed response makes him hesitate and wait to see what they want to do.

The large stone golem juggernaut elephant looking monstrosity continues on down the tunnel you all just came up from and continues south then it turns out of your sight. Alanis now hears the loud rumbling rolling sound coming near to him.

Thifli: "Well, if Alanis hasn't killed those two orcs yet, it will be interesting to see what that thing does to them!"

Based on Thifli's experience with stone work and mining he makes the assumption that such a stone monstrosity would be difficult to turn around in these tunnels and therefore yells as loud as he can to tell Alanis to hide!

Indeed Thifli is correct while the thing had a wide birth of space to angle down to the southern tunnel it cannot turn easily towards Alainis in the south east instead it goes down the south western tunnel and is out of sight and sounds to be going further till the party cannot hear it.

well, I guess so says Eirik, coming to his sense. These Orcs aren't telling us anything, and I for one do not relish the thought of wandering these caves blindly. Let's follow this bizarre beast.
