The Princess

She stands in surprise as others refrain from engaging. Only Maag does what she thinks should be done. "Is this some sort of Human tradition? Why would we hold off on using our superior numbers to assist our friend?"

Nevertheless, she doesn't get involved personally. Although this is most likely due to her thought that only magic weapons will harm him.

"I suspect she promises 'great rewards' to many people. How hard is it knowing that you will never measure up to her? A half-demon after all. Tell me, does she keep you at a physical distance? I bet she can smell the taint of humans on you. A succubus can't be a mother. She's jealous of Luther and what you two would have. And now she demands that you kill your only shot at a real parent out of jealousy. Don't do her bidding, be your own man."

The Mor-Tar The Better

Luther gets the jump on his progeny this time, slashing the boy across one arm, drawing bright red blood for the first time. The bear man is barely recognizable in his current crazed state of mind, growling and gritting his teeth like a madman.

Mor-Tar doesn't attack, instead dabbing at the blood on his arm with two fingers before looking at it quizzically. His face isnt showing any pain, but there is a hint of confusion upon it. "How......this isnt supposed to happen." He puts his fingers to his mouth and licks them clean as he turns to the Princess. His face contorts in anger as he spits out his words towards her in obvious rage. "You know NOTHING, bitch! Now shut your mouth before I shut it for you!" Can I get a Save vs. Spells, please? (Failure causes a Hold/Silence like effect upon her.)

While the others agree that they should remain out of the fight, Maag gets an idea, charging into the fray to insert his magical dagger into the boy in gold. Before he can reach his target, he suddenly stops mid charge, turns his wrist around, and uncontrollably stabs himself in the chest with his own weapon, causing great bodily harm to his person. 8 dam Mor-Tar again looks confused by this result, but he does smile when he sees the pain and blood. "I did warn you. Not too sharp, are we hideous one?"

Amun looks stern.

"They be blood bound and honor bound to settle this until only one is standing, mey-kesh s'hallah."

She lowers her weapon and stands back, only watching.

Amun is actually F2 20/20 now

Yrias

The cleric of Boccob mutters something under his breath when he sees the result of Maag's attempt at attacking the magical boy. He still remains at a distance but doesn't sheath his sword, aware of the false sense of security he has with the weapon in his hands.

The Princess

She has a smug sense of satisfaction as Mor-Tar shows a bit of irritation, and she smiles broadly as he reveals that he can cast. "Oh, ho! I see you ha...."

Save v Spells(15): [1d20]=7

The Princess stops midsentence, and can't even properly respond to the interesting effect that occurred when another combatant joined in. Or Mor-Tar's confused look.

Maag

Maag's eyes go wide with the shock and pain. He screams out in pain,"GYNNNAHHHH!", then staggers away, cursing.

Liam rushes over to Ma'ag and pulls him back from the fight and presses him to the ground. Be still! Hands off! You'll make it worse! his old commander's voice seasoned with age coming back in the sight of a real emergency as he assesses how to help the half-orc and stabilize him. He takes out a clean hanky and presses it to the wound around the dagger.

Rushes over to help the wounded Maag as well. When Keg gets close enough she'll again whisper "Or maybe I won't cast that spell".

The Mor-Tar The Better

With Maag being tended to, and the Princess suddenly silenced, the fight between father and son rages on.

Mor-Tar hits the enraged bearman again, this time cutting even deeper. 7 dam The boy still seems distracted, looking around as if he were unsure about something. Despite this, he is easily able to parry his fathers counter attack.

Keg huffs. Damn stupid boy! Who in this picture do you see her using? Luther was minding his own damned business trying to help people. Your mom sent him off with a list of conditions and then when he didn't do what she wanted she sent you to do even more of her dirty work.
Damn young fool if you cant see what is happening here. And after you kill Luther, what do you think you will get from her? Love? Gratitude? Or sent away on the next errand she needs checked off her list?

Amun spits and addresses Mor-Tar in a stern voice, seemingly irritated

"Boy your mother is powerful warrior not helpless girl! If you believed in that you would know she can defend herself and is responsible for her own actions. A man cannot use a woman like your mother. If you think they can you are a fool and know nothing of women."

She applauds the others for continuing to barb Mor-Tar, egging them on wordlessly. She makes sure that they are surrounding the battle, not clumping together in a large target.

The Mor-Tar The Better

When Mor-Tar hears the sting of Kegs words, he glares in his direction next. Can I get a Save vs. Spells from Keg, please?

When Luther slashes his boy across the shoulder and arm with his sword this time, he notices something off about the result. The blow was definitely sound, and clearly causes an injury, but the way the injury takes a moment to appear seems rather unnatural to the seasoned fighting man. Either his offspring is a slow bleeder, or something else is afoot here. You can give me a [4d6] Int. check for a bit more info.

The boy counters with another successful blow on Luther, this injury definitely appearing as it should, hurting badly. 6 dam

The newcomer Amun thinks she may be on to something. Taunting the boy from a safe distance with logic, and following his expressions closely, she gets another unexpected look of confusion from the boy when he receives his latest injury. She also sees him jerk his head around in confusion after her comments.

The Princess can neither applaud or egg, despite her best efforts to prove otherwise.
