I too can speak orc, I could try and call them over in some way? I thought I had the invisibility spell for the day but I forgot I didn't choose it, I could lightning bolt them into the ground instead? what say you friends? hehe.. Dune whispers.

Sounds like Theo and Eirick are sneaking in - ANY sound of trouble, Thifli is charging in.

Just a reminder the ranger has no armor he lost it when he was captured. Eirik however is wearing scale mail not quite so silent and sneaky.

Sounds like a lose-lose situation then - Thifli again, under his breath - suggests taking the two by surprise with a full-out charge.

or even better...how about I wander in there, sling an insult about their mother at them in orcish, and run as fast I can back in here where you are all waiting as an ambush?

I apogize. In my games I rule that anyone can move QUIETLY (use surprise rules), but certain classes can move SILENTLY (no chance for them hearing you if successful, within reason). Shouldn't have assumed that was the case here. Eirik will either charge blindly or sit back, depending on group consensus.

Edit Just wanted to make clear, since I'm stuck typing via phone most of the time, that I have no problem with the ruling, just wanted to explain why I thought I could "get away with" something

being just two orcs we could beat them down some then tie them up to question them. Their probably guarding something.

To clear it up yes anyone can move quietly but certain armors will make that harder. IF you wanted to remove the armor sure fine by me.

"Tired of sitting here like we're scared of two orcs," grumbles Thifli. "Everyone stay here, hide to either side of entrance and get your weapons ready. We're going to capture some orcs!". Thifli then runs toward where he heard the voices - if he confronts two orcs, he immediately shoots "Your mothers must have slept with goblins to have faces like yours!" and quickly run back to the party's ambush.

Those that are moving either quietly or barreling in see up ahead 2 orcs carrying whips likely intended from what Theodore can remember on the slaves forced into mining. They look surprised when they see a dwarf charging at them seemingly from nowhere. "Oh shit! can be heard from one of the two in orcish "What happened to the ogres that guard that entrance?" the other says with shock, they ready to whip at the rampaging dwarf but Thifli barrels into them knocking them both to the cave floor before they can sound any alarms or run off. The party has no challenge in overwhelming the 2 slave driver orcs.

Theodore Mumfordian (Half Sylvanian Wood-Elf) Ranger lvl:5 HP 21/21 AC 5):

If Theodore has a clear shot the prone Orcs he uses his Elven Oathbow, otherwise his Orc Shaman Knife will be used:

To Hit Roll: [1d20] = 6, Elven Oath Bow Damage: [1d6] = 3

To Hit Roll: [1d20] = 5, Elven Oath Bow Damage: [1d6] = 2

Or:
To Hit: [1d20] = 10 Orc Shaman Dagger Damage: [1d3] = 2

Do we need attack rolls or is it assumed that we overwhelmed the two?

It was assumed. Pyro I guess does not want to leave them alive although his rolls were kinda bad so maybe he does.

Thifli quickly disarms the orcs and after casting a questioning look at Theodore grabs one of them and says (in orcish) "there is a lot more of that where that came from if you don't stay quiet. Now, in a low voice you are going to start telling us about this cave and we may leave you here tied up and alive - or we can kill you now...your choice"
