Gort - Savage

Gort takes the gold and looks at it, marveling at how shiny it is. He isn't sure the true value of it, but it must be worth something, being so shiny and all. He carefully puts it in his pouch, smiling and nodding his thanks to Seeker for handing it to him.

He begins to search the bottom two floors for some food, muttering "Gort's belly wants something in it. Where the food is here?"

Summary

Gort inspects the opening on the 4th floor. There is a Scorpion (siege artillery) setting off to t he side of the opening and two large doors, opened inward, and strapped to pegs on either side of the opening. The opening appears to be a defense point for the tower. After inspecting the opening he briefly speaks to Seeker and heads back to the 1st floor to assist with the nightly watch. Seeker soon follows and fondles the gold coins on the 1st floor before divvying them up.

Gort’s eyes gleam with light from the gold coins mesmerizing him momentarily. Shortly thereafter his attention from guard duty is swayed by a burning hunger in his gut. He begins a thorough search for food. He soon finds a bounty of dried food stuffs on the 2nd floor.

Buckey pockets a dagger for emergencies and a bastard sword for...well you know.

Esilia moves to Delea’s side and watches over her through the night, sleeping very close to her side, with one arm protectively wrapping her for safety sake.

Gorthak stands stoically in the middle of the 1st floor for his watch.

The nightly watches proceed without event. The thunder and rain move off to the east and the human occupants begin their morning routines with the tower now secure. Several prepare the morning meal while others continue to straighten and repair the havoc caused by the Orcs. (Assuming the main entry is still barred shut until otherwise noted)

As the morning watch stretches, stomach growling from the smell of meal preperations, a shout echoes form the 2nd floor.

Esilia's voice echoes throughout the tower, “Delea, She’s awake!”

Action: Calling Doctor Seeker!

Jyrbian travels up the ladder to the second floor, some dry rations in his mouth as he does so. He scans the room, finding the pixie and the so far useless elf girl. He strides over, "Well then, it is about time you have awoken yourself." Once he gets to Delea he sits her down if she is not already sitting, while saying, "You have been drugged by these simpletons for quite some time, let us see if they have left any lingering problems shall we?" To ease her wariness he also tacks on, "I am Seeker Talanador, My word is truth and will is law, I shall see to you."

If she allows his ministrations he will look her over, checking her pulse and eye dilation. Using a candle nearby or some other point of light to track her pupils, checking to see if she is still drugged somewhat.

Gorthak stretches and wakes on the first floor likely having taken watch the entire night until simply he fell asleep in a stall with a mule.

Yawning and standing using his lucern hammer as a walking stick to stand. "Ah thank god and what of the dwarf did he wake?" gorthak says loud enough for it to travel to at least the second level.

Gort - Savage

Gort shares the watch with Gorthak, sharing some of the dried food he found with the burly minotaur. When morning arrives and the smell of food starts to spread, Gort nods at Gorthak and says "Mmmm... smell food. We go eat. No one help us watch down here, Gort say we eat all food."

Gort will wait for Gorthak, and wherever he goes, Gort will follow.

Gorthak looks to Gort smiles "Gort I no fit up the hole at top of ladder." he says while indicating his broad shoulders and over all size. "It like having a wet owlbear climb in a hobbit hole."

Gort - Savage

Gort smiles sheepishly at Gorthak, glancing at the hole, then at Gorthak's broad form. "Oops. Gort forget dat. Gort go get food for Gorthak, you wait here. We eat much!" And Gort will quickly scale the ladder to get Gorthak and himself as much food as he can carry (with or without permission from the cooks) "Gort come for food! We watch all night with no help, we hungry now." and then he'll return to Gorthak, intending to chat on our plan for the day and eat.

Gorthak graciously takes the food and eats with Gort "Not sure what the plan is today Gort. I'd like to chat with the dwarf we saved."

Action: Smiles with exaustion

Esilia smiles at Seeker and says mildly, "Thank you kind sir, she is awake but groggy, please do your best. I need to sleep now." She smiles at Seeker again and moves to one of the beds nearby and curls up under a wool blanket, burying herself from the world.

Summary:

The night passes without incident of any kind. As climbs out on the second floor searching for food he encounters the female Human getting ready to descend. She tells Gort there is food on the roof where the servants are cooking then she descends the ladder to the first floor. Gort indeed finds two male human servants on the roof cooking breakfast. He procures enough to feed himself and gorthak and returns to the first floor where the female is speaking to Gorthak.

Human Female addressing Gorthak: "Hello sir. Would you be so kind as to lift the bar so I may retrieve water for morning ablutions?" she says with a broad smile. "We could all use a bath I think." She gives a wry smile and a little laugh, shyly turning her gaze from Gorthak.

Meanwhile on the 2nd floor Seeker pokes and prods the helpless Elf maiden. "You have been drugged by these simpletons for quite some time, let us see if they have left any lingering problems shall we?" To ease her wariness he also tacks on, "I am Seeker Talanador, My word is truth and will is law, I shall see to you." Seeker helps her to a sitting position and inspects her carefully. After several minutes she begins to whisper something. Seeker has to lean in, almost touching her frail pink lips to his ear to discern anything intelligent. "It is the female" she says "The....oh my head..." she raises a hand to her forehead, "The human...she is not..." she trails off, slumping over on her side, falling asleep once again.

Action: It's like a game of Clue!

Jyrbian lays the elf back down, he scans the room, searching for some creature resembling a female human. He descends the ladder, finding her talking to the bovine. Jyrbian calls out, "Grab her! She may be the one who has drugged the elf! Quickly my bovine companion!" As he says he strides towards the two intent on restraining her as well.

Gort - Savage 0 lv (HP: 10/10; AC 11)
Action: Tackle woman downstairs

Hearing Seeker order the detention of the woman, Gort charges the woman, intent on tackling her to the ground. He has no idea why Seeker would ask us to hold the woman, but knowing that Seeker is far smarter than him, he'll obey. "RRRrrrRRRrrrharrr! Seeker says you STOP!"

Initiative [1d10] = 6
Difficulty Check Dex (15) [3d6+1] = 13+1 = 14
To Hit [1d20+2] = 15+2 = 17

Buckey is also hanging out in the place most likely to require him to employ his new weapons, namely the ground floor.

Elktran - Dark Elf Psion - LV 0 {HP:10/10} {AC:9/9}

Action: He chases the woman, hoping to tackle her or hopefully slow her down.


"You! I knew there was something about you!" the frail dark elf spits as he clambers to his feet into a chase. If he catches up he will attempt to tackle her and wrestle her to the ground.

I forgot to include the minus in the macro so I typed it in. It was a natural crit at first though.

Gorthak again inquires about the rescued dwarf. "How fares the dwarf?"

Summary
While the Human female asks Gorthak to be let out on the 1st floor Seeker discovers, from his conversation with Delea, that she may be responsible for Delea’s dilemma. Seeker rushes to the 1st floor and shouts, "Grab her! She may be the one who has drugged the elf! Quickly my bovine companion!"

Human Female Initiative [1d10] = 8
DEX-DC [3d6+2] = 7+2 = 9

The female darts for the door in an attempt to escape, but Gort and Elktran tackle her to the floor before she makes it half way to the door.

Gorthak (the out-of-body walker) stands mildly indifferent to happenings, apparently more concerned with the Dwarf.

Buckey stands around on the 1st floor admiring his new weapons.

The female struggles under the weight of the two, cursing obscenities the whole while, “Get your filthy hands off me you animals. You are so dead! Wait till I get my hands free. You pigs! Bilge rat fodder is higher on the tree than you! Let me go…”

The Dwarf is still sleeping and recovering from the beating he took from the Orcs.

Action: Tying the knots of life

Jyrbian walks over to the woman and her captors, bringing out some rope he will begin tying her up, making sure the rope is knotted and tight enough so that she cannot escape.

Initiative: [1d10] = 1
Jyrbian Dex(12): [3d6] = 12

Once that is done Jyrbian will address the group, "Let us put her somewhere where she can not do any harm. Once the elf awakens we can begin the interrogation of the female." He looks down at her, a smug little smile portrayed on his face, "I do not know the poison that was used on the Elf, so I do not know how long it will take for her to awaken. I suppose an appropriate response to this would-be traitor is to bar her from food or drink until the elf is awake then, hm?"

Gort - Savage 0 lv (HP: 10/10; AC 11)
Action: restrain woman downstairs

Gort holds the woman down, and if she struggles more, he'll punch her square in the face or try to knock her out. Chivalry is not in the savage's mind on this day.

"SHUT MOUTH! YOU HURT LADY UP DERE! SHUT UP OR GORT SMAAASSSSH YOU GOOD!"
