Theodore says to Alanis,

"You dang fool, you could have wound up with an arrow between the eyes."

Anything to get away from the bog - Let's look around as long as we can stand the odor. Thifli proceeds onward and utilizes infrared if the lantern light does not extend with me. Let's go.

I'll look around their filth with the end of my staff poking around afterward I'll look around for a sack or a chest.

Upon opening the chest Dune finds that the ogre's apparently used it as a food storage. Finding a lot of rotten semi moldy food items in the chest and a waft of flies that comes out upon opening the chest. It's a bit repuslive but smells better than most of the cave.

Going further into the cave you see that the back does tunnel back a ways and looks like it goes deeper.
Here is a current mapping of what you see going down is what you have discovered of the back of the cave. It indeed leads further down.

Alanis seems a bit frustrated, huffing into the air as he decides, "I suppose the Rat King shall have to wait... When we enter his grand burrowed court I expect we would get a warmer welcome after getting rid of such vile vermin as these ogres... Alright then! Let us press on!"

Thifli heartily agrees...we press onward and downward. Anything to get away from this stench.

True, but those ugly brutes were probably the guard dogs and guard dogs usually protect something. Onward and downward!

The group travels for about another 30 minutes and come to a spot in the cave tunnel where it branches off in a few directions so far it has been uneventful but the smell is a bit more as a cave underground should smell less like the armpit of an ogre and more earthy. The tunnel opens up into another cavern room with a tunnel going south and one going northwest. Your party has come in from the northeast. Coming from the south tunnel it sounds like orcs talking.

Anyone know the Ogrish language?!

I notice some of the players don't have their known languages listed!

Thifli takes a good listen and it sounds like just average chatter something about what to eat for lunch and how their wives nag them too much.

How many does it sound like? Could we overwhelm them without killing? I'd like to get some answers about this place...
