"Not a bad idea, but I want to gather some rocks first, just in case."

Drest will try and gather 10 good rocks for throwing (1d4 damage?).

"I also feel really well after the night... Something is wanting us bad to fight that gargoyle.

We should also explore the subterranean further. When we have something tangible, apart from this two stones,"
he points to the two stones floating around his head. "Then we can go back to Xambaala.

I thought this place was full of treasures.
He looks at Xenos as if waiting for an answer, but not in a recriminatory way.

There was only four slaves and one ran away, right? That means there's no living thing apart from us, as far as we know.

Great healing rolls!!!

So, I believe you were almost out of water yesterday. Which means you are likely already out of water this morning.

There is obviously more to explore here, and more to the underground complex you haven't searched yet, but I thought I heard musings of the party being too few to explore further without first recruiting some help? There are currently 4 of you still breathing.

I am most certainly not trying to guide this decision either way, so please do whatever you think is best. I just want to make sure you remember the things you said yesterday.

If the water situation is that precarious then maybe we should just return to town, rest up for a day or two, re-equip and return with help. We might not be able to afford bows, but there are other options like slings. That would also give us the chance of equipping ourselves against the gargoyle properly, and we might even be able to do some research into it's weaknesses. (We are rather good at stating things and then doing the opposite)

Ok.

Although I'm pretty sure someone would've plundered all the riches we have suffered so much to free of their guardians

I hear what you're saying. The only other option, which is pushing it, is to spend today searching downstairs and travel back at dusk. Realistically, those are to two options: return now, or spend today searching and return this afternoon before it gets too dark.

Drest

I am guilty of saying something and immediately forgetting it.

I am OK if we keep searching but it sounds like we are out of water now so that needs to be our priority above all else.

I think that there MUST be some water. The "people" living here need to drink too. If we find some, that changes our perspective completely. Specially with the hp boost we just got.

Maybe we may find something in the rooms the little "vikings" came from.

That said, I understand that we're pushing it too much.

Agreed about it being here, but we have limited time to find it and lets be honest, most dungeons break all sorts of logical rules.

The other concern is our numbers and those creatures were pretty tough. If there are more of them we could be in big trouble. It's a lot of ifs and buts.

Let's go back. It would be too much bad luck that someone comes during the night and takes what's ours :P Specially since they can find resistance.

I'm hoping that the only ones who know about this place are the slaves, and that the tales told by the one that ran off will keep them away, at least for a few days. We can return to Xambaala now, spend a day resting and shopping and return tomorrow evening. "
