That's the right reference. Nobody rescinded the order so, as far as I'm concerned, the factory-fresh cylinders were incinerated in orbit.
Edit
I had a rush job - a commission I'd forgotten about suddenly fell due. Missed my deadline, but I got away with it (poor comms here, terrain blocks signals

). Should get some writing done in the morning.

Oh yes indeed we burned up the "chemical irritant" - bah nasty!
...aaand kept the
utterly hideous virus bomb!
Now, that's yer quaint rococo Dragon heirloom right there!

My recommendation would be to dump it in the sun. Failing that, we dump it into the local gas giant. Failing that, we keep it. Lords know I want this shit as far away from me as I can possibly get it, but if I can't know it's obliterated in nuclear fire I want to know exactly where it is.
It’s creators couldn’t contain the calamities it unleashed…how shall we? The consequences of mishandling this are catastrophic.
I think we should let the star have it.
You people are too timid. The thing has maintained its seal for two millennia, surely it’ll last a little longer...
Besides, who knows when you might need to kill an entire planet? Or, at least, be able to credibly threaten to.
Today I was mostly gardening. We went to buy a present for someone and Sarah bought us lots of things to plant too...
I'm halfway through Tiv's valuation. I wasted an hour or so looking for what I'd already written about Raggi, only to not find what I was looking for.

I mean, if we really want to keep it, we could always weld a container onto the hull. It might mess up the aerodynamics, but a double walled container with a vacuum between the walls seems like a fairly safe way to keep it around. (Yes, I'm basically suggesting we weld a thermos bottle onto the hull to store our planet killer).

And would you fly this little cargo pod with contents into an atmosphere and land it on the surface of your home? If we’re gonna keep it, better to go cache it on some asteroid until needed. Oghmen already cache fuel that way.

Well, strictly speaking Oghma isn't Remington's home. So in the event of an unfortunate accident he'd only feel guilty for being complicit in a planetary genocide, not the planetary genocide of his homeworld.

Don't worry Raven has a plan...
Bah, another typo to fix!
Don't Worry, Raven has a plan...
Very fortunately the plan is subject to democracy!

To quote Eshargamalat:
Sealed drum. We never open them, there can be devils inside.
Someone on Marduk has, in the past, opened at least one drum in order for others to learn not to, and yet there are still people on Marduk. Since Marduk is a series of isolated island communities, it is likely whatever is in the canisters is not capable of travelling between them easily. With a good quarantine, you might only kill a city .

Composing update (at last).
Raggi would probably choose one of the data-crystal/jewellery items, so if you want to keep them someone needs to hide them

Oh, he's not getting them - at least until we've determined the contents!
Even though Raven likes him as a beer buddy.
Hey - he carries a sword!
What's not to like?

Mental block passed.
Pro: I learned a bit about ancient Persian/Iraqi jewellery and other artefacts while putting off writing.
Con: The dice insisted Raggi wanted a sword after all, so had to look into those...
Next up: Sal or Ummiimir? You are still free to decide which, neither have timed appointments.

Sal followed by Ummimmiir. Overlapping visits.

Now I have to frame a response
I've got another scene-setting post planned first (giving Raven a heads-up), but if anyone else wants to react first, feel free.
One note; Aslan are cat-like, Vargr are canines.
Not that Arnwulf will necessarily have encountered either before - neither race live on the prey-worlds, and Oghma is not at home for visitors.

Yes, that is true, my mistake. Lionmen and Wolfmen, I got them mixed up.

It's fine, the joke stands. If anything, it is more Oghman - all those beast-people are pretty much the same, ja?

Arnwulf Goren Lugersen
Joke over, he dresses.
"Is Umimmir arriving on board or we are attending an evening feast he is laying on?"
I thought it was the latter?
It's both.
He has proposed hosting a feast (which is still, theoretically, on offer), but has also been invited to visit now, concurrent with Scarlett Sal. He hasn't arrived yet, but is expected.

I'm writing a post with Raggi and Manfred, which leaves space for interactions.
Kar's player hardrocks is away, should be back on Thursday.
I've got family visiting next week, so no long posts from me - but I'll try to keep things moving.

Sal's assay is taking longer than expected, so I posted the first, introductory, section. I'm working through her assessment of the various items and will post something tomorrow.
