Wake

Wake is interested in going to the "Fun House" - e.g. the 9 o'clock position. Who would like to head for that goal?

Amun will follow along to any of the sphere locations. She is level 2 but her hp is decent already. Another idea might be to divide groups so that the balance of classes is sort of even? One of the four base classes in each group, something like that?

So Amun could join a group to the temple or to the fun house!

I'm kind of guessing at some of the levels. There are more people on the Fun House Team to avoid Luther and Daisy being in the same group. So I put the two lower level clerics there, instead of one higher one.

As I said, it's just a suggestion, so have fun switching it all around folks

Works for Amun as well although...she was just recently washed ashore so neither I or she has any clue on where to go or what hook to pick up, except for going to the temple/fun house.

So any suggestions from the rest of the player/PCs are more than welcome!

Remember, it isn’t necessarily imperative that every character be put on a list.

If you don’t want your characters to go out on an adventure, and are content to only interact when other folks are in town, that is fine with me too.

Luther and Daisy sit, talking quietly for a while. Luther gets more agitated as the discussion goes along, then calms himself. Daisy, still looking bedraggled after her ordeal, hugs Luther as best she can, then heads off to find Nalissa and whatever passes for the Hi/Lo these days. She absently snaps her fingers to call Sophie, then shakes her head as she remembers the badger is no more.

Luther watches the fire for a while, looking troubled and drawing random squiggles in the dirt. Then he gets to his feet and begins yelling.
Rally 'Round!! Adventurers, Rally 'Round!
When he has an audience, Luther speaks.
All my cards on the table, folks. I've met this 'Momma' that Sister Daisy had her run-in with. She gave me the charm that helps me fight off poisons, and she gave me this magic bowstring. I lied about them, because she told me to keep it secret- and at the time, I din't see a reason not to. I apologize to anybody that thinks I did 'em wrong by lying about this stuff.
Now I got a reason. She gave me this stuff to help me find the obelisks for her. But now I know what she's thinking, I ain' gonna let her have 'em without a fight. I ain't gonna tell anyone what they need to do- but I'm gonna do everything I can to stop her. That means find the obelisks, figure out what they're for, and use 'em- hopefully to end this bitch.
I've been gone a few days- who's missing? Any idea where they're at?

Liam & Keg listen to Luther as he explains what's happened.

Keg grumbles a bit as he processes the info.

Liam leans over to Daisy Well now... what do you think of that? Why would she have treated you as she did and then give Luther so much. Doesnt match up to her thinking we are all a rival unless... he clears his throat and addresses Luther directly. What was it she saw special about you, Master Ranger?

Hearing the cries comes down to hear the speech. Having heard it she notices Keg in the crowd with a man questioning the speaker. She makes her way over "Hi, Keg how's it going? Keyon and I were off at Beach Town when all this mess went down. Any info on what's happened?"

The Knife looks up at Luther, eyes wide. "I can't believe you kept something as important as that a secret for so long."

"Yer sound like a right sneaky git." Maag grins. "A man dat is after me own 'eart. I reckon dat we will get on like an 'ouse on fire".

The Princess

As far as I know, Momma is now the de facto leader of a subset of natives. There was a split and she now controls many of them at the waterfall camp. Also, as far as I know, there is a Momma who spoke to Luther and gave him gifts. I'm not positive they are one and the same, yet. Let's find out.

She steps forward and gets between Liam and Luther. "Enough. I have seen this before, it's basic diplomacy. Find allies, sow discord, distract from your real goals. Luther acted as he best thought given the information. Should he have questioned it further? Maybe. But he revealed it now, rather than allow more confusion to continue and I thank him for that."

She looks around at the gathered group. "Assuming this Momma is the same as who offered tribute to Luther, it makes sense that she would expose herself now. She has started to make her move. Luther, what information have you given her, and how do you contact each other?"

"Have you ever seen this Momma? Does the description Daisy gives match what you know? Also, since you are clearly a powerful entity on the island, but not the only one, I must assume that she has approached others. Again, basic stuff. Create multiple cells working in concert without knowing."

"This just increases the urgency that we must reach and contact the other powerful adventurers. I suspect many, if not all, have already been contacted by Momma. The varied magical items that they are rumored to carry suggest that she was quite liberal in doling out gifts."

She gets Luther up to date on the happenings and last-known locations of the others.

I don't know why she was so generous- I got some pieces to that puzzle, but can't make 'em fit.
When I met Momma, she was a huge fat woman- prob'ly make two of me- if not more. Sister Daisy said Momma was tall and beautiful. I can't believe there's two women, both called Momma, tryin' to take control. So she's likely to be a shapechanger- a wizard, an illusionist, or not even human.
She said I gave her something. I don't know of anything I gave her, so maybe she did some sort of charm on me that I can't feel. Can anyone do some sorta magical detection on me? Make sure I ain't gonna shit in the stewpot?
There's one other thing: there's a kid runnin' around- looks like he could be my son. He's got the Bruin jawline, and his eyes are just like my father's. I know when we freed those folks from the slavers, a woman and I... er, celebrated. But I don't think it's been long enough for her to have given birth, much less for the kid to have grown up that much.
And thank you for your support, Princess. I didn't tell her much- mostly my intent to help make this a healthy town, lookin' for fortune and glory, that sort of stuff.
Luther spreads his hands. I don't blame anyone who doesn't trust me now- I sure wouldn't. But if I can earn your trust again, tell me how.
