Thanks for the link.
Re: Howie's Speakeasy - "Come on in"
I don't have a gun listed on David character sheet but I did find the thread where he did purchase one.

It's a simple six-shot revolver. As an academic, he does not walk around with it unless stated. The nightstand drawer seems like the most logical place to have it.

Wow finding that from four years ago I should make it a .38. Is there some search function I’m not aware of?
Re: Howie's Speakeasy - "Come on in"
I’m just dedicated to this game like no other player with the knowledge to use the search feature attached to this site.

Edith healed 3 from hospital care, so with 2 she was at 5.
The fall would have done 6.
So that Luck roll saved her, and David's mind.

I was in a bunch of 7e CoC games at Necronomicon, and between Luck and pushing rolls, no one died at all. The game has gone soft.

Survivability in 7e and Pulp Cthulhu is greater than previous versions.

Re: Howie's Speakeasy - "Come on in"
I have every intent on moving to the New Orleans investigation. At the same time I like to let things flow organically so the twists that have occured combined with the slow PbP pace has delayed New Orleans. I can move things ahead (in a somewhat heavy handed manner) if the group would like to get on with New Orleans.

I'm good with moving things along to New Orleans. Although we may have to kill Dr. Clarke first....

How do we know you're not a donkey-brained man?

All the way from Paris, please welcome Golem to our group of investigators. He’ll be playing Prof. Balandabar. Bienvenu!

Re: Howie's Speakeasy - "Come on in"
It may be faster to discuss strategy around Edith/Frank here in OOC, rather than in slower sequential fashion in character. When the strategy is decided, I can handle resolution in-character.
I’d move ahead to New Orleans but the Edith issue needs to be resolved in some manner.

How about using the "Dallas Elucidation", it was all a dream. Dr. Clarke is woken up with his newly acquired book resting on his chest by the banging on his front door by his friends wonder why he didn't stop by Frank's house like planned.

Re: Howie's Speakeasy - "Come on in"
Assuming our Keeper doesn't give us the Dallas thing, Reginald needs to kill David/Asineth, right? I mean, he has to do it and he has to do it now. He cant risk letting the cultist switch bodies again, and the nurse will be back soon....

Re: Howie's Speakeasy - "Come on in"
You could sedate David and sneak him out and keep him sedated until we can switch the bodies back or leave him alone. An evil keeper would have Asineth switch bodies right at the moment of the murder. Putting the murder in the body of the victim just before its death.
