Hold on - he hasn't worked his way through all of Humanity... yet!
Well, he was hitting on the Vargr host at the restaurant, so this was needed.

Ah, now that poor soul was merely collateral damage. What with her sensitive olfactory set up she was but a pawn to the intoxicating snare of his cologne... Or was that prawn? After the bacchanal he and Aster performed there was quite a lot of seafood entree caught up in his suit...

Never a dull moment. So much for Ciencia having a day as a normal person. Sigh.

Well, I think it's dinner time for J&R, so they won't get the good news until evening.

Unless they get attacked.

Interesting. Mongoose duplicated your Aslan merc company in the Deeps. Coincidence or separated groups of the same company?
TEAHLEIKHOI
An Aslan mercenary company organised and operated as a regiment, based in the Uhtaa subsector of Reaver’s Deep, Teahleikhoi, loosely translated as ‘Soldiers of the Falling Night’ or ‘Knights of the Setting Sun’, is fairly typical of mercenary units in the Hierate.
The corporation controlling the unit was organised some 150 years ago by an unmarried female of the Iyhlua clan and has maintained continuity through a series of handpicked successors to this day. The current owner, Iyhli, is a distant relative of the founder. Like all of the corporation’s senior executives, she will hold her post until she dies or marries, when her chosen successor will take charge of the business.
Teahleikhoi has served on tickets throughout Reaver’s Deep. The company is outfitted to TL14, which generally provides a significant advantage, and the regiment is able to handle situations from formal clan wars to operations outside the Aslan sphere of influence. Ships supplied by Larleaftea Hryawaowya, the prominent shipbuilding firm, are essential to the unit’ s operations, giving the regiment interstellar mobility, as well as control and support at the scene of battle. Thirteen ships are available: nine transports for company-level transportation, three battle leaders for command and control, and a large regimental command ship equipped to coordinate large-scale operations. This last ship can carry a small fighter squadron and transports various other support units when the regiment is otherwise in combat.
The company is frequently employed by other interstellar governments besides the Aslan, however, it commonly chooses its employers based upon the preferences of Iyhlua clan diplomats. In this way, they extend the clan’s influence indirectly.

I think canonically they are there but started off with the Fasa product (the two Intruder Transport/Combat Leader ship deckplans)... which after a check... has scenarios versus Caledonian forces so they are there from the get go.
Mine are therefore a "splinter group"... but would therefore be very useful in Reaver's Deep. Equally they could be "in the huff" with the main group. I suppose that given that they are notionally a training cadre (until the colonists can stand up a defence force) it's less crucial long term.

Maybe, but as there will likely be land and settlement, it could make things interesting over the long term.

Turkey consumed. Let the Metz weapons' build commence! Have to have some shiny for the visitors!
Remember those laser revolvers that power the shots via cartridges? Metz always follows the rule that bigger is better.

We had an intimate family gathering of about 20 people - which isn't nearly all of my in-laws. It was a blast, and we are all in food comas now

We had lunch with Donna's oldest. It was good.
