If we are resting now can we do more healing?

The Druid could. If she changed back to half elf form and then back into Panther form when the rest is over.

Frannie

Frannie will cast 2/3 of her daily healing first thing keeping one for an emergency. She will cast it on the two front line fighters Qleceec & Androgost.

Qleceec - CLW [1d6+2]=6+2=8
Androgost - CLW [1d6+2]=2+2=4

The morning
Early on Godsday, 18th day of Planting, 597
13th day since leaving Loftwick

Siouxsie (AC 2, HP 41/48) - (Panther!)
Androgost (AC -6, HP 42/65, Armor 15/26) (Glowing Sword)
Qleceec (AC 1, HP 51/63)
Nah Olos (AC 4, HP 42/53)
Boff (AC 5, HP 50/61)
Hex (AC 0, HP 21/27, Armor 2/8)
Garrant (AC 3, HP 50/50, Armor 2/8)
Frannie (AC 4, HP 19/26) (Torch)
Raffi (AC -1, HP 20/21, Armor 8/8)

There is some discussion of healing and Frannie gives some healing, but Siouxsie says she does not have much and Garrant is silent on the topic. There is further discussion that Qleceec with some strong swimming skills (and perhaps some Water Breathing magic, but that is not specifically stated) and Boff that can breathe underwater should go down the into the water source and then down into the straw. Previously Nah Olos was asking how deep, but no one knew. There are 6-7 50' coils of rope throughout the group that could be tied together to help here if needed.

About this time the 12' tall fire creature returns. The claps his hands a drops fire a bright as a torch at his feet. He says in an excited and happy tone, "Hope you has some good rest time! Primers, are you ready to complete the deal by getting me the black gem and I can get you the vambraces and your two pieces of information?" What is your great heroic plan, oh wise sages."

Siousxie

Can the fire giant being tell us more about this pool and the gem. What dangers can we expect? How deep the place is?

I had a 'Rock of Continual Light' and such an item to give underwater illumination will be invaluable. Mine was stolen. Do we have any others?

Depending on answers, I will assume some aquatic form (giant otter, octopus) and go help retrieve the gem.

"Prime Kitty, I am an information broker and you keep asking for information for free. That is not the how the game is played - I will try an bend the rules a little. I am not sure how deep the lake or stream or whatever that collection of water is, but the straw is about 70-80' long. I would assume the gem is not right at the bottom of the straw. I am not sure if there are traps or protections that could be on the gem, but I would recommend grabbing it into a bag and I will give you that information for the small cost of you giving me the bag as well. As touching the gem may not be pleasant for 'ya"

Fire-Creature

The Fire-Creature looks at the rest of the party that is not Siousxie and says, "What is a matter Primers, the cat got your tongue? Oh my that is a good one." the creature snickers. "Seriously didn't your leader just asked you all a question. Are we doing this deal or not? The information will be juicy . . ."

Androgost grudgingly agrees. "It is a risk, but we accept the offer... let us be quick!"

Nah Olos stands guard and watches for any intruders or the return of the dark elves.

Siouxsie

Can cast Water Breathing on someone (Qlec) and take to an appropriate aquatic form when we know what the environment underwater is like.

Qleceec

She will leave her bow/arrows and backpack behind.

"Ready to go then."

She enters the water and looks around once her head is underwater to scout, but waits for the others who are joining her.

The swim
Early on Godsday, 18th day of Planting, 597
13th day since leaving Loftwick

Siouxsie (AC 2, HP 41/48) -
Androgost (AC -6, HP 42/65, Armor 15/26) (Glowing Sword)
Qleceec (AC 1, HP 51/63) (Water Breathing 9 hours)
Nah Olos (AC 4, HP 42/53)
Boff (AC 5, HP 50/61)
Hex (AC 0, HP 21/27, Armor 2/8)
Garrant (AC 3, HP 50/50, Armor 2/8)
Frannie (AC 4, HP 19/26)
Raffi (AC -1, HP 20/21, Armor 8/8)

The group finally get around to exploring the rest of the huge cavern that they slept in last night. The Fire Creature points them to the water source, which I guess would be best described an underground pond at this point. I have drawn the current boundary (dark blue line) and what you can tell from remaining water was the very recent previous boundary (light blue line). It appears that dark elves took a lot of water, you all estimate that the water line dropped about 15 feet. The fire-creature tosses some flaming material to light up more of the room (the orange X's) and then returns to the old water edge to watch you.

Siouxsie is able to return to her naked half-elf form in order to cast Water Breathing on Qleceec in the cool (40 F) water. Qleceec leaves her bow/arrows and backpack behind (at the little q) but takes the rest of her equipment. Boff is able to walk into the water, but I will give him the option of leaving equipment on the shore if he wishes. (Please include in next post.) The water is fresh water (Siouxsie would even say pure water). She had been talking about an otter or octopus, but the otter might be better given it is not salt water. (Please include in your next post what you are changing into.)

Hex is going to transform himself into a Nixie in Plate Mail. Are you planning on having all your equipment transform with you or are you leaving anything on the shore? (Please include details in your next post).

The remaining group is watching, other than Nah Olos which is watching for a sneak attack. While the group talked about rope before that is not used yet. Siouxsie had previously asked about anyone still having any Continual Light, but none was volunteered.

Qleceec while waiting for the rest to be ready to go, looks around once her head is underwater to scout. She finds it very dark and if she uses her sword for light, the so called "straw" is not within 20 feet of her current position. She does NOT see any fish in this pond or other life for that matter. But it is obvious to the Ranger from the feeling beneath her feet that there are fish living in this pond - but she does not see any of them.
