Ms Yersinia Pestis blinks twice and replies "Major Prerna Nayar SEMC Sniper Specialist thank you for your question. I have Executive Outcomes Division override for the Rond facility fire control. In addition the Corporate shuttle in our allied possession is under the authority of Sgt Turner 1188th Mercenary Lift infantry and is therefore deemed "friendly" by Rond IFF. I believe Sgt Turner will not be deemed absent from his assigned workzone placement as he is recorded as strongly anticipating some activities in breach of worker welfare guidelines subject to executive override. These activities were specifically with yourself and to a lesser degree with other SEMC officers. Executive Outcomes Division is dealing with that workplace issue on your behalf. We value our workplace partners".

Frank smiles "I can assure you that Captain Ghosal is quite well. I wanted to thank you both for your assistance in this mission. I also have a gift for you, from General Piet Valls of the Newland Army Command. It was necessary for him to have his air support pilots claim some of your success for their own. He dislikes such politics., so sends this as a thank you and an apology."Tiglath wrote: ↑Wed Oct 23, 2024 7:47 pm FrankFrank drives over to the distant hanger and gains entry through the personnel door in the hangar door. Inside he sees two sleek black Zhodani ten ton fighter aircraft being serviced by a tech robot each and rearmed by a cargo handler variant. On entry he is noticed by two smallish round bots hovering above the craft. The 'bots move towards him but then reset to their stations.
Frank (mutally) recognizes the attractive pair of pilots (with their long on top short at the back hairstyles - flight helmets) who he met at the Ambassador's dinner at the Bartizan. They greet him with cheerful smiles and formal salutes as Pilot Officer Nsobiepr "Nsobi" (distinctive with her short argent hair) says "Colonel Frank Cross, you do us great honour by attending our brief visit here!" Frank schools himself not to look... well not look look. He recalled the "lissome leggage" of the pair of near six foot tall Zhodani flight officers and their very tailored high tech black vac suits but the effect was still stunning. The sable haired pilot giggles and says "Nsobi desperately wants to enquire after Captain Ghosal's wellbeing but is too shy to ask" Her silver haired comrade exclaims "Briakqraiepr, you are shameless!" then smiles at Frank "But I would dearly like to know if Kit is safe and well. There seemed a lot of insurgents".

Prerna regards her quietly for a moment. "While I truly appreciate your help in ridding Tarsus of these monsters, I still have reservations about your loyalties here, Ms. Pestis. If I discover that you are leading us into a trap, my last action will be to end your existence." She smiles slightly. "Now that I've made my point, your plan seems to be better than the alternatives, especially if we wish to take the base intact."Tiglath wrote: ↑Wed Oct 23, 2024 9:37 pm PrernaMs Yersinia Pestis blinks twice and replies "Major Prerna Nayar SEMC Sniper Specialist thank you for your question. Once Frank has finished his delivery he wants to catch up with Freya while she is getting ready for the Rond mission, again as far away from Ms Pestis as is practical.

Pilot Officer Nsobiepr replies "Thank you for delivering our gift Colonel Cross. Please pass on our thanks to General Valls - he is quite right that politicians locally tend to the shameful dishonesty of the Imperial variety. If I may ask a favour would you please let Captain Ghosal know that I enquired as to his health?"shaidar wrote: ↑Thu Oct 24, 2024 4:28 am Frank smiles "I can assure you that Captain Ghosal is quite well. Once he's happy with their privacy he will speak.
"Ms Ingridsdottir, I have given lieutenant Arnholdt a secondary mission that he's going to need your help with. It's need to know, even from the other SEMC officers, because I want to minimise the chances of Ms Pestis finding out. I hoping you can get data from the Rond systems. Anything on the SuSAG activities on Tarsus, particularly their attempts to buy votes and take control, as well as anything on their actions in the death of the 1188th in the Bartizan on Collace. That said, I'll settle for anything that shows the sector what SuSAG has been up to, and if we can prove that Keening had the approval of SuSAG, rather than being a lone wolf that's even better. Once we have this information I want to get it out in the public domain in such a way it can't be suppressed by SuSAG or tracked back to us."

I'll see what I can do. The biggest problem will be that if anything we take is unique to here, then they'll have proof of origin. We may need to cover our tracks. Perhaps we ensure all the data is hidden in encrypted form on Ms Pestis' hand-held? I'll also need some anonymous data stores for our version. Zhodani manufactured ones would be really helpful. I wonder if the cultists had any? Possibly with their DNA on them?shaidar wrote: ↑Fri Oct 25, 2024 5:23 pm Frank

Freya considers release routes. Does she know where she can find a reliable but non-SEMC related data broker she could route the data through?
Re: Tarsus para bellum
In a completely optional crossover episode gaming choice:
Right you're on!
In terrymixon's "Reunion at Collace" chapter of Billion Credit Bounty (Mongoose Traveller).
In an (it's alright we'll sort it out but it's after Tarsus) timeline you are back on Collace post mission and at a 4DC Merc (Col Skeet) sponsored "Merc Mixer" UpSpire where celebs, the Collace well to do and hopefully rich punters get to meet, grope (if they're brave) and/or actually hire Collace Mercs (that being the basic premise).
You're landing here:
viewtopic.php?p=731816#p731816
You are all added to Terry's game and can post therein!
See here: viewtopic.php?p=731838#p731838
The above inserted here merely for redundancy (plus OOC/MIA) and this thread will run on as normal.

"This has to be kept away from Ms Pestis. I doubt she will see it is in the best interests of SuSAG, although I do expect her to betray us at some point. If you need to bring any of the others officers in, then fine, but this really is need to know. Every extra person read in is an increase in the chances of Pestis finding out somehow. I'm not sure that hiding the source is an issue. Whatever we take has be marked in such as way that it's source is undeniable. All I can expect is for you to try your best. This is a secondary mission, and not worth putting the primary mission in danger, and not worth the lives of our people. SuSAG have taken enough already."BackworldTraveller wrote: ↑Sat Oct 26, 2024 9:15 pmI'll see what I can do. Re: Tarsus para bellum
After looting the dead leader and the surrounding area Dzofin tries to find the stash of damaged grav bikes in the hopes of getting another functional bike to go check on his wounded pack mate. Later he would go look up these Rangers and pay off his debt.
Re: Tarsus para bellum
T'lia calls Dzofin "Master Vargr, we have business in near orbit. I believe that's the very place where even a distant relation of Dzenae Ungogz, "Anuekhs An Gzoug - the Flame that Burns" of the Kforuzeng would be useful. Will you come with us? I'll pay your daily rate".
Re: Tarsus para bellum
Dzofin immediately starts to wag his tail. "I would be more than happy to be your representative. Let me know where to meet my transportation."Tiglath wrote: ↑Tue Oct 29, 2024 12:11 amT'lia calls Dzofin "Master Vargr, we have business in near orbit. Re: Tarsus para bellum
T'lia glances over at Prerna and then takes in Dzofin with a twitch of a smile "Maybe we should form a... Coalition?" replying to the Vargr she says "We're going raiding and our transport is over there. We're riding in a recently stolen Corporate shuttle. That's a mode of transport so... Kforuzeng that you'll feel very much at home! Dzofin realizes that she was about to show her teeth in a human grin but instead knowingly "snapped her jaws" in Gvegh appreciative/affirmative. She's either very culturally aware or has spent some time not just with Vargr but specifically with the Kforuzeng.helvorn wrote: ↑Tue Oct 29, 2024 9:36 pmDzofin immediately starts to wag his tail. Dzofin continue to wag although his ears stiffened slightly in a position of readiness and alert. "Perhaps instead of a coalition which is such a dry human word we should say pack. It seems that you have done your homework on my cousins band." He grinned showing his teeth for a moment although his posture remained neutral. "I have done my share of raiding and look forward to more. Humans often call us "The Dogs of War" and some of my people take that as an insult but it is very true on many levels. The Zhodani "let slip the dogs of war" when they stir up trouble with the Imperium. My people raid and thrive in times of change and chaos. Many say that the Vargr are the hounds that run with the three horsemen of your human apocalypse or as ravening wolves with the Giants in Ragnarok of the Sword Worlds. That is true more often than not." He chuffed in laughter. "It is good to deal with a pink skin that understands us and puts us where we can excel. That is the way of the Pack."Tiglath wrote: ↑Wed Oct 30, 2024 9:39 pm T'lia glances over at Prerna and then takes in Dzofin with a twitch of a smile "Maybe we should form a... Klaus:
Arnholdt squad get settled in the transport. We will be spearheading this assault in conjunction with Ms Pestis. The aim is to be fast and quiet so ensure suppressers are fitted to your SMGs, we'll be taking grenades and breaching charges but only for use once our incursion is noticed.
As soon as the rest of the team get onboard we shall be en-route. So everyone check your equipment and the guys around you.
