Arriving too late last round, Awwrak follows the others forward and shoots when an enemy comes into view. (Holding as a ready action.)

Lothien checks to see what the crew in front are fighting. He quickly casts Poison Spray on the thing, then resumes watching for an attack from behind from the runes room.
Constitution ST or take [1d12] = 11 damage.

Initiative: [1d20+2] = 20+2 = 22

[Radrabbit]

As 3of4 leads the charge into the room, you see several of the creatures standing almost in a line with spear like weapons in their hands.
It seems like they readied themselves quickly on hearing 3of4's first attempt on the door.
One of the creatures goes down with an arrow in the head. A second is engulfed in a noxious purple cloud and sinks to its knee, wheezing and choking.

(There are four more, standing in line. Sade, Qelnaar and 3of4 to act.)

Sade moves in and attacks.

Attacks the line of enemies with his sword as he move unyeildingly forward into the fray, trying to disrupt their organization as much as possible.

Qelnaar casts Sacred Flame at the one furthest away.

[Radrabbit]

Sade and 3of4 charge the creatures, with one falling under the monk's blows immediately.
3of4 misses with a swipe of his blade and Qelnaar summons a blinding white light that sends a creature darting to the side and away from the pillar of flame.
The three remaining creatures throw the spear like weapons they held.
The first two fly harmlessly by the advancing monk and warforged, but the last glances off Sade's shoulder drawing a cry of pain
(Sade takes 3hp of damage)

Sade beats down another creature and Qelnaar incinerates his target.
One remaining creature looks on in horror.

He tries to recover his swing and hit the creature on the backswing.

The last of the creatures you can see in this room is chopped down by 3of4.

Aknowledged. unceremoniously he will reach down and grab one of the creatures (or whatever is left) by the head and examine it closely, trying to decern more about what it is or might be, or at least some weakness that can be identified and exploited going forward.
