Sarin continues to help with the dead and injured hoping eventually someone will answer his question he previously stated.

Hildr

"I think the black disc was a portal of some kind that the demons were able to use to get in here, more advanced than the one we used that was fixed. My guess is whatever was in that chest was something they wanted very badly."

Sorry, missed your question.

Moves to the waiting room with the others.

Well now what? Looks like we have failed at our mission. They got what they wanted. And we got nothing to stop whatever that was in the Red Armor.

Felix

Felix allows Hildr to fill the Priest in.

I am but a pawn in this I must allow Hildr to fill you in as she is the direct link to the Odin Temple and High Priest.

Sarin nods "I'm a bit more than a pawn but appears we were sent here to stop what just happened, and obviously we were unable to do that."

Hildr

Hildr will retell the tale, trying to cover everything and not holding anything back.
A cult of demon worshipers are try to free the demon Pazuzu.
They infiltrated several of the good temples in Markainus.
They were using fixed portals to access the temple to Odin.
They had a hidden base in the sewers and a separate one a days walk outside the city.
We fought several shadow beasts in addition to the cultists.
The local ring leader was named Cillian, we are pursuing him here.
We found a map and scroll (if we brought it I will show him) that indicates they were searching for something and thought it was near here.
The High Priest of Odin sent us via a teleport from a magic user to stop them.

The high priest takes this all in.

The box the demon took held a stone, a stone imbued with powerful evil forces. It was brought here a week ago by a group of adventurers such as yourself led by a priest of Tyr. the stone was exuding it's influence bringing evil to its presence and even took control of one of their group who touched it.

We created the box to contain it's evil and lock it away it is warded with the most powerful of magic preventing it form being opened. Through communion with great rongo i was able to discover the presence of a second stone somewhere near. the adventurers went to try and recover this second stone.

Those demons somehow opened a portal with in our temple and flooded through. even though he took the box the wards should be to powerful for him to open.

Sarin scratching his face thinking about this all wonders "So where are these other adventurers now? Do you know where that other stone was located?" then thinking more about the loss of the other stone "Let's hope that the wards are beyond the cultist and demons abilities to open the box. If not the whole of the land may well be at risk."

Hildr

"Do you have a way to determine where they took the stone? Perhaps we could attempt to recover it. If the other group is able to recover the stone we will need a better place to hold it since we know the demons can reach it here."
