Re: Eddistone Point
would elktran be able to fit down said hole?
Re: Eddistone Point
Summary, 3rd Floor: Round 7
Buckey continues to rest (until 10:21) while Gort ties up the Half-Orc.
The two humans, 1 male and 1 female, stand behind the rectangular table watching as Gort binds the Half-Orc. They appear to be unsure as to what they should do, possibly even more scared of the newcomers than the Orcs.
OOC: The ladder continues up to a fourth floor.
Summary 2nd Floor: Round 7
Seeker tries, unsuccessfully, to wake Delea, ties up the two sleeping Orcs, and then proceeds to interrogate the humans huddled under the bed. "Who are you, and why are you two not among the deceased?"
The two men crawl out form under the bed a bit weary of Seeker. One man clears his throat and says, “We are Alf (points to himself) and Clyde (points to the other). We cook, clean, and perform maintenance here. Those ruffian scalawag Orcs ambushed us and took over the place.” The speaker, Alf, looks down at Delea and says, “Delea came here to light the beacon just before the Orcs arrived. They have kept her drugged. I do not think they like magic users.” He looks back at Seeker and asks, “Are you here to enslave us as well?”
Summary 1st Floor: Round 7
Gorthak inquires of Esilia, "Alright Esilia is there anything you can do magically?
Esilia replies kindly, “I’m sorry. I don’t have any way to help you magically. I could climb down the hole and tie a rope to the little fellow if that will help?”
Elktran offers to squeeze into the hole as well, but it would be a tight fit, and might end up getting himself stuck as well.

Re: Eddistone Point
["Seeker" Jyrbian Talanador of the Bleeding Eye - Lvl 0] {HP:4/10} {AC:9}
Action: Slave labor
Jyrbian scoffs a little as he chuckles, "If by enslave you refer to stowing you in the corner or under beds while drugging the new magic user then no. I require obedience from my slaves and servants, if I were to take you under my own then you were be expected to work, and in exchange you would be allowed to keep your mind and live comfortably under my protection. Payment may also be included, it really depends on my mood at the time." He looks at the tied up sleeping orcs, "Really now... What an inefficient use of slaves... a true master does not strike fear into their hearts, stopping all acts of obedience. The slaves must already know through actions that treason to their master will end with them suffering for all eternity, no quick death is allowed for betrayal." He turns back to the humans as he continues, pointing in finger in the air to emphasize his point, "You see, a servant should not fear their master because he can snuff their life as if it were a shoddy candle... no, they must respect their master because while he has the power, he so chooses to spare you and instead use that power to protect your lives so long as you remain faithful... That is what you get my serving me." Jyrbian gives them a wicked grin as he finishes.
Jyrbian then looks upwards at the ceiling, sighing, he looks again at the two captives, "Now then, you may not be my slaves but I, Seeker Talanador, refuse to accept such uselessness, both of you, grab the drugged elf and take her down to the first level where you will meet a talking bovine, a pixie, and another. They shall take the elf from you and protect you from whatever else may lurk in this hell hole of a tower..." Jyrbian will wait long enough to direct the two captives to get started on their assigned task.
After making sure they are doing their job Jyrbian then ascends the ladder, looking for the young savage and halfling axe wielder. Upon finding them he will check over Buckey, sighing in a tone more annoyed than worried, "Must we carry your weight as well? Who would expend themselves so that they cannot move... Foolishness is what this is." He looks around the room, spying two more cowering captives, Jyrbian points at them and calls out to them, "You two! Come here and make yourselves useful! Carry my foolish companion down to the first floor! You will meet additional saved captives and my other companions, I will not accept such uselessness as you two to stand about!" As he looks around at Gort and the bound Half-orc he says aloud but mostly to himself, "This is why Orcs should never be allowed a place of power, they have no management, just letting their slaves wallow about like stuck jellyfish..."
Jyrbian approaches Gort, nodding at the half-orc, "What is this then? A half-orc among Orcs? What shall we find next? a ogre managing their accounts? Young savage one, we have our intended goal of that elf woman, let us retreat for now with our own captives, wake her sluggish self up and once more return to light this light before returning to the wizard for a job done. There is not much we can do with just the two of us."
Charisma Rolls for putting the captives to work... if necessary.

Re: Eddistone Point
Buckey calls out to the humans. "Are you prisoners of these orcs?" He looks around, chuckling as he drags himself over to the nearest wall to prop himself up in a sitting position. "I mean were you?"
Re: Eddistone Point
Gort - Savage 0 lv (HP: 10/10; AC 11)
Action: Orc toss to first floor
Gort gives Jyrbian a puzzled look and shrugs "Uhh... Gort not smart like you, I not unnerstand big words. But I like you. So okay. Give Gort a minute, got to get big boss Orc downstairs."
And just like that, Gort roughly grabs the bound unconscious orc, dragging him to the ladder and shouts down "Look out, Gort bring boss orc down to say hello." Then he tosses the orc down to the first floor unceremoniously, chuckling at his chance to provide some come-uppance to orcs.

Re: Eddistone Point
Summary 1st Floor: Round 8/9
Gorthak, Esillia, and Elktran try to figure out how to get the crazy Dwarf out of the hole. His moans have begun to wain in the past few minutes.
Gort arrives just in time to see Gorthak chipping away at the edge of a hole. Little bits of stone fall into the hole. He doesn’t seem to be making much progress, the stone is very hard. Esillia and Elktran look on in wonder at his bulky form.
Summary 2nd Floor: Round 8/9
As Seeker rambles on incessantly, the two Humans huddled near Delea look at each other with puzzled looks and then set about moving Delea to the 1st floor. Seeker moves to the 3rd floor to manage the affairs up there.
Summary, 3rd Floor: Round 8/9
Seeker arrives in grand fashion and wastes no time in chastising Buckey and confusing Gort, then proceeds to order the captives on this floor around. They two humans, one male, one female, look in wonder at him then casually obey. Buckey tries to question them during hteir task, "Are you prisoners of these orcs?" The give only brief answers, “Yes we we were captives.”
Finding a length of rope, tying it to Buckey’s waist, they assist him one bellow assisting his descent, one above feeding out rope. After several tense moments Buckey arrives at the 1st floor.
Shortly before Buckey descends, Gort grabs up the Half-Orc and deftly takes him to the 1st floor, occasionally bumping his head once or twice.

Buckey will attempt to ascertain from the humans what purpose this "lighthouse" serves and what the orcs wanted with it--do they have ships they need to bring into harbor soon?

["Seeker" Jyrbian Talanador of the Bleeding Eye - Lvl 0] {HP:4/10} {AC:9}
Action: Appreciating a days hard work
Jyrbian looks around as everyone hops to his orders, a slight smile and nod emerge from him as he looks around, "Now we are getting more efficient" He then walks over to the ladder heading up to the floor above them, listening closely to see if he can hear any movement or voices.
After that he will head to the first floor himself to meet back up with everyone and head off to rest and get more information from their newly rescued captives and unconscious Elf.

Re: Eddistone Point
Summary:
Seeker climbs up the ladder to the 4th floor, flips open the hatch and climbs up into darkness. Stinging beads of rain begin to pelt Seeker in the left side of his face. There appears to be a door open on the west wall. A flash of light flashes, suddenly lighting the opening and simultaneously blinding Seeker, the thunder clap reverberates inside the tower a few seconds later. The ladder continues upward.
Buckey proceeds to questions the captives while he rests. The female doesn’t say much but the male talks freely, “I am Cullivan,” he says while extending his hand to Buckey. “I am Druidic. I have been appointed by Netheril to man this tower. He intends to open the route through the mountains to the north, once again opening trade with northern lands.” He keeps looking toward Gorthak, with an increasingly worried look on his face, while speaking to Buckey. “What is that Minotaur doing over there?” Then walks over to see if he can assist.
While Buckey rests, watching the others worry over a hole in the floor, the Half-Orc wakes up with a growl. “Rrrrrrrrr, You filthy dogs will feel my master’s wrath. You have no idea what it is you are doing here," and begins to struggle at his bonds.
A few seconds later a clatter can be heard from the 2nd floor, as if bodies flailing around on the floor, followed by shouting in Orcish.

Once he reaches the second floor he looks around at the orcs, "What are these still doing here?!" He walks over to the orcs and beats them in the face with his staff before dragging them down to the ladder leading to the first floor, kicking them down with his foot while yelling down to the others, "More prisoners! Catch!" before waiting a moment and descending himself and finally regrouping with the others. He looks around at everyone as they stand around doing nothing causing Jyrbian to sigh in annoyance, "Must I do the all of the actions myself again? Is not saving your lives enough?! Shall I spoon feed you as well? Perhaps change your cloths as you defecate all over yourselves?!" He looks around the room, "Have you not saved the dwarf yet?!??"

Summary:
Cullivan and Esilia wait for a rope so they may assist in the retrieval of the Dwarf Haril.
Buckey continues to rest from his crazy rampage.
Gort goes all Savage on the Half-Orc, having had enough of it's foul language, and pummels it into silence. The Half-Orc's face is beaten to pulp, blood and spittle drooling from it's mouth as its head lolls to one side. The thing still breaths but says nothing more.
Seeker rambles about on the upper floors and, finding the two Orcs on the second floor struggling to free themselves, summarily pushes them down to the 1st floor with a "More prisoners! Catch!" announcement.
The two Orcs fall to the floor, the first lands on its head, its neck twisting morbidly with a lovely crack. The second lands on the first with a dull thud. It rolls off to one side and lays there moaning.
The wind has picked up outside and begins to blow through the main door. Water begins to pool and move across the floor toward the two holes, a majority of it headed toward the drain hole where the Dwarf is trapped.
