Re: OOC
A note on the timeline, and an apology:
I tried to fast-forward in my last post, so it covered several "days", ending on the morning of "day three". Unfortunately, I didn't make that entirely clear.
The convoy arrival was intended for the "morning" after the feast, the SS Ilsa that "night", and the next two ships the "morning" of day three. The location of the serpent in relation to the Gas Giants was the only clue I gave to the passage of time, and there is where my error lies. I knew how long it took to reach those points, but I didn't bother to write it into the post, sorry
We'll just adjust the arrival times and sensor ranges, it'll be fine.

No worries and all good!
I deliberately hadn't noticed the timeslip due to rigorous roleplaying of Raven and the warband (who spend the time in between things they can fight either working out, licking the windows or eating crayons...).

Re: OOC
Actually, re-reading, we can keep the timings and just slot posts into the framework as they go. The only adjustment needed is Arnwolf scanning the Ilsa while Raven is on the bridge, and the ship/scan wasn't part of the exchange. So, SS Ilsa arrived earlier and processed fuel before leaving orbit instead of purifying as she went. All square. Plus, a vision of the future has been vouchsafed to you all. Nothing bad will happen for the days already covered. Well, except for whatever trouble you can make among yourselves

I'm not saying if there is or is not anything to find, but:
Regina Sensor Check: [_2d6]=(3+2)=5 -2 Civilian Grade Sensors, +3 Skill, +1 Int = 7

Re: OOC
Aslan are big and aggressive, but they mostly stick within their own borders (except for trade).Arnwulf Goren Lugersen
So the Aslan have a slave culture too. What else do we know about the race and the planets they populate and why are we not at war with them?
Have we ever taken Aslan slaves and do they have Oghmans kept in servitude?
The Aslan as a whole do not have a slave culture - in fact it is a prohibited practice in the Hierate. These Aslan are J3/J4 Rimward ("south"). Oghma ships need to cross two J2 gaps to reach the Hierate at the closest point, and there are few opportunities for successful raiding in Aslan space.
There is a renegade Aslan faction, the Glorious Empire, that very much does have a slave culture. They hold a great many human slaves, and actively seek more. The Glorious Empire is a journey of about J11 Spinward along the Dustbelt.
It is possible that some Oghmen are held by the Glorious Empire, but if there are, they were captured from ships that failed to return from raids in the Dustbelt.
There have been Aslan slaves on Oghma, usually unlucky merchants. Aslan make poor slaves, they are too proud/arrogant.
The Aslan regions are the yellow and white zones here: https://travellermap.com/?p=-98.802!17. ... ions=25591

None of the PCs have met/know of Ummiimir, or Soraia.by Bluetongue » Fri Feb 11, 2022 6:09 am
"He is keen to make a good impression. Win us over with his fawning and food. Anyone know much about him. Ever dealt with him before?"
Full response tonight. Hopefully.

Re: OOC
Delays in GM's writing, IRL time-leeches, sorry.
I'm holding off docking the ship in case Remington wants to assess the cargo during the flight (as I'd prefer) rather in dock.

One puppy was bad enough.
Writing up the loot assessment is taking longer than expected, sorry.

Re: OOC
No worries!
I can add that another puppy resulted in the Faginesque employment of the now junior burglar as a lookout / stooge for the Master Criminal's continual and obsessive food stealing activities...
One "Agility Course" as a pup = I am Raffles!

Bear in mind that Remington has a 2 in the mix. One of his assessments is very wrong.

A follow-on post summarising the less interesting/important loot will be up tomorrow.

Re: OOC
Well, that's out of the way
Except...
I've a couple of minor edits and some extra images to add tonight.
Anyway, you've got a good idea of the cargo available for trade (bear in mind there are two definitely failed rolls in there somewhere, and things Remington isn't expert enough in to value properly).

Noticed a second batch of loot, the items that Remington didn't need to assay (because none were potentially technological in nature).

I think I've finally listed all of the loot.
I'll bring the ship to port tomorrow.

This post will self-destruct soon.
Pinterest remembered that I'd searched for octopi and tattoos and suggested this. I'd be tempted to say Rubati has it, but I'd probably have mentioned it by now.

Lawks... er... fhtagn, Cthulhu!
However, I think you have the better end of the algorithm.
Having once asked for "Traveller deck plans" I am now inundated with designs for wooden planked structures and dangerous places to visit...

Re: OOC
I had the exact same thing, but I kept searching for proper ship deckplans and saving them in a Pinterest file, or board, or whatever they call them, and eventually it learned what I meant. It's a slow learner, that algorithm, but it gets there eventually. Still thinks I'd like men's fashion for some reason though, despite me never clicking on that link
