Awwrak rises, taking his cue from Sade, careful to keep his volumnuous cloak over himself. Just another Ravenkin. Nothing to see here, he thinks, trying to will it into truth. He glances over to catch Rodrigo's eye, who has safely ensconced himself at another table. At least someone will remain and can tell us what happens... He takes comfort in the thought. He follows Sade and 3of4, his sharp talons clacking on the wood floor as he waddles uncomfortably to the door.

The bard sends them a wink across the room, a look of "I'll see you later," and turns back to his conversation, intrigued now by the young woman and her secretive demeanor. If he remains unmolested by Einar or the guard, he'll sit tight and see this through.
If they give him any trouble, he'll smoothly excuse himself and make his way out (hopefully) without conflict.
If you need a roll for anything of that nature, just give me a heads up and I'll post one.

Lothien shoulders his pack, looks over to the man in brown, tries to innocuously signal "You can meet us outside if you need" with his eyes and a head gesture, without being noticed by anyone. Notices that someone noticed his unpracticed attempt deceiving anything other than a trout with a fly and a line.

Thinks, "My first experience with town people since I was a boy, and ejected from a tavern before I could even order an ale. Is every hour in town going to be like this? Got to keep my ears and eyes open and learn. And best keep my mouth shut, too."

Giggling softly to himself, Kura edges around the tables, past the guards and toward the door, facing them the whole time. Only once he's reached the safety of the doorway does he turn his back to them, half-running to rejoin his companions.

The Sargent at arms relaxes a little as you seem to be happy to leave with no trouble.
You leave the tavern as around a dozen more guards come running around a corner, they stop when they see you.
"At ease." The Sargent calls out and the newcomers relax.
There is another inn several hundred yards down the road, or you can ask for directions to a different location.

Kura's ears perk up. "Oh! Hunting party! Of gnolls! Lost in the woods. But I have their scent."

As the inn is pointed out down the street, Awwrak lets out a kackkackkackkack noise. "We cannot talk indoors," he says quietly. "We can camp beyond the town, yes? Open, clear lines of sight. Less chance of concern."

"Agreed, out side of town before we get ourselves in trouble again."

Rumbles a moment. yes. You organics often cause trouble for yourselves. We should follow this logic. the irony of that statement obviously lost on him.
heheh... irony.

Kura perks up at the mention of "following logic". His ears come up and he sniffs excitedly. "I can follow things. What does it smell like?"

"Logic." He drops to all fours and begins sniffing at the ground.

Since you decided to make camp outside of town I include a localized map.
There are clearings marked as you can see, but you can make camp anywhere you like.
The clearings would probably be more defensible but again you have free rein as to where you can camp.

When we decide on a campsite, I'll wait here for Rodrigo and we'll meet you all there later.

Awwrak suggests we head towards the Chetwood, as it is germane to the matters we must discuss and places us on our way. Also, that we get off the main path from town
(use clearing 2) after drawing too much attention this evening.
He hobbles along awkwardly under his cloak as they leave town and head into the forest, trying to draw as little attention to himself as possible, hopefully looking enough like a ravenkin...

The warforged has little regard for paths and blazes his own trail more or less straight in a line, breaking and trampling any vegetation in his way as they head towards Clearing 2. Once he breaks through the foliage he comes to an abrupt stop.
Campsite Located. He will then walk the perimeter a few times checking for signs of other comings and goings to see what kind of security they have here.
Perception [1d20] = 7
Assuming all is good, he will then begin to gather firewood and other such tasks to prepare an encampment for the night.

After watching 3of4 head toward the treeline,
Kura drops to all fours to search for the gnoll hunting party.
Am I able to tell if the gnoll hunting party came this way, and if so what direction they might have gone?
Track by scent: [1d20+6] = 19+6 = 25
Suddenly his head shoots up, and he lets out a low, whooping call to his companions as he lopes off toward the treeline to the northwest, dropping every few paces to sniff at the ground.

Promptly arrives with half of an entire fallen tree trunk. This wood is well cured and will be ideal for burning.
