Greywolf: what about the secret door on the left side of the closet across from room 2? It doesn't appear to lead anywhere...
Ok this one is another fun secret that the goblins are not aware of. That is a prison cell and the S is a secret door in the floor of the cell but the goblins haven't discovered it.

here is part of the Area 2 description that talks about that secret door.
Unknown to the goblins, the cell has a secret door in the floor; opening it reveals a shaft with handholds cut into the side that leads down to the chambers in room 22 on the Vault Level (a typical example of Master Blaise’s sense of humor).
Blaise was a tricky old mage.

correcting myself appears i read it wrong the goblins know about secret door 20 but dare not use it. Posting up area descriptions in spoilers to try and save some space. I have all the descriptions for the goblin lair rooms/areas listed now same location as the map and table. Hopefully the spoilers make it a little easier for you to read through.

I can provide maps and ToniXX can setup a private forum in here for only the players to have access to if you want to go that route. Otherwise i can setup a PC coordination forum on here that i will be able to see and you can all post there in spoilers or not and I will just honor not looking there. Or you can all communicate via PM if you want to.
I hadn't given any thought to the in game scenario yet, nor do I remember seeing the post in question. Was it made in this thread or elsewhere?

Edit: Never mind, seems that I've found it. Does this site have additional style sheets to choose from? The distinction between read and unread is very slight and easily missed. :/

Sure, but remember that when I first posted here I said I wasn't even aware that a forum had been created? :P The only thing I do remember from that message was that it was sent. At any rate, I know of it now and have started contributing within the limitations of my characters.

GW: the rules state goblin shamans don't get bonus spells for being wicked smaat, like mine own goblinz is. Are we playing it that way or do I get the bonus spells for defying the odds?

Thanks.

We're gonna defy the odds Rusty. ;)

I asked this before are we playing all three characters at the same time. I have 2 fighters and 1 witch doctor.

All at once, so we're truly a swarm of expendables. :)

That's what the rules suggest, anyhow.

Yes all 3 I believe i said this before as well. However we cannot have 2 witch doctors and it appears now we have 2. Upchuck is the only WD so please anyone else with a WD will have to change it back to a warrior.

The Yar-Cock tribe venerates the lesser goblin god Bargrivyek...
What spheres does that mean for clerical spells?

Any Major Spheres: All, charm, divination, guardian, healing, law, protection, travelers, wards
Minor Spheres: Combat, elemental (air, earth), war

Oh, wait, what..? I thought we only switched to another if one died. That's how the module is intended to be played at any rate. I feel that a swarm is going to be far too chaotic and therefore not fun. I guess the rest of you can play 3 at once, but I'll stick to 1 and only speak to those who speak to me directly.

Well since there are going to be roughly 10 adventurers invading your home if you think 6 solo goblins works then go for it but if you were the adventurers it would be a lot more than 6 small goblins at a time per encounter typically. ;) Plus this is an entire tribes home there will be a lot more than 24 total goblins in the caverns. Essentially you guys are going to be in charge of a whole squadron of goblins. Granted not the entire tribe all at once. Think of it as one is your main character and the other two are your henchmen/hirelings. You make them attack and interact as needed.

Per GW's posting of the rules (bolding is my addition):
During character creation, have each player roll up not one but three goblin warriors. He or she now has the option of running the characters one at a time or all three simultaneously. The “three characters at once” option simulates the goblins’ innate lawfulness and ability to work together effectively against larger, more powerful, but less organized foes. It’s up to the player to decide whether the three are related, a goblin clique, or simply an informal group whose interests tend to coincide. Wise players will use the multiple characters to increase their options, spread around damage, and rescue the fallen, thus giving all three greatly improved odds of survival.
Definitely chaotic and difficult to keep track of who did what and when, but I think it's pretty characterful. I can see my "runt" being NPC-like, with little to say and just being bullied into the front line.

All right I shall move my Witch Doctor to a badass goblin fighter(Very High Stats for a goblin) "He will be the next Goblin King"

Thank you Dram. Also yes Rusty that is exactly true you have 3 but can run them simultaneously or individually however i will likely have to ask others to roll attacks for NPC goblins from the clan as well so it's not all me rolling for all the Adventurer NPCs and Goblin NPCs. I'll act out the current clan tribe leader but other than that the rest is essentially up to you guys as my "gift" ;)
