This game seems to contain an inordinate amount of baby shaking and infant slaying.
And we just got here!

Sorry unanticipated travel has me offline. Hope to be back by weekend. Please NPC as necessary. Thanks.
Re: Whispered Asides and Backroom Squabbles: OOC
I woke up this morning and realized with a start that the two character injured by rats in the last round both had Armor 1. Deet and GWAR! should both add back one point of STR. This doesn't change the outcome of the rolls, but it does mean you're just a smidge farther from death's door.

"Would it be of any use, now," thought Alice, "to speak to this mouse? Everything is so out-of-the-way down here, that I should think
very likely it can talk: at any rate, there's no harm in trying."

Oy. Apologies for the inordinate number of mistakes I've made in the past week. And thanks for catching the errors! A new note-taking system has been implemented, and we should have smooth sailing for at least a little while.GreyWolfVT wrote:Hans was never attacked Pulp, William and Kurt were the two that were savagely rat attacked

aren't errors apart of gaming?

They sure are with this damn dice roller! I'm half convinced the US dice roller has -3 encoded somewhere.

FYI, out of town from 26th until the 1st. Will try to maintain daily posts but no promises.

well in our game anything could happen

As a true aficionado of the random and bizarre, the froggy felony warms my heart. Merry Christmas indeed. (And condolences to first froggy's next of kin)
Re: Whispered Asides and Backroom Squabbles: OOC
Christmas was way too cozy/boozy/foodsy to post the last few days. Conveniently, all my characters are dead or unconscious, so I'm assuming there was no expectation I'd post anyway.
Hope you all had a great time!

Re: Whispered Asides and Backroom Squabbles: OOC
Speaking of characters who're out, would anyone care to try and revive Deet now that the rats done gone *poof*?
How does that work anyway Pulp? Are rolls required?

Re: Whispered Asides and Backroom Squabbles: OOC
No rolls are required. You just state that you are taking a short rest, and, if you're feeling colorful, describe how you are spending the downtime. ItO assumes all PCs are well-rounded, competent adventurers, and that includes the ability to patch each other up.
After the rest, you will regain Hit Points, but not STR. That will require a longer convalescence.
You'll want to be smart about where and how you take your rest; the Castle does not go on pause.
I believe the rat-battlers can start their Rest right away. The baby-squashers need to resolve their desire to rescue Mouse and Horton with the oncoming Voice.
