For marching order I say we place the thieves in the front to look for traps followed closely by my meatshield/fighter. then we keep the clerics with the mages to protect them and intermix the demihumans for support. what does everyone else say?

I'm down with being in the front. Just make a hole so I have somewhere in the ranks to flee when danger appears!

If a little elf may be so bold, on marching order I'd suggest:

For single File:
1. Marda - dwarf fighter (for a low/high combo attack with Niles)
2. Niles - fighter
3. Fingal - thief
4. Foracor - elf MU/F
5. Bayard - cleric
6. Cailte - hobbit
7. Abin - cleric
8. Albertus - cleric

For double file:

1. Marda / Niles
2. Fingal / Foracor
3. Bayard / Cailte
4. Abin / Albertus

This leverages the height, fighting, AC, HP strengths of the party.

On lighting, perhaps Bayard in the middle to cast torch light equally about, and still be able to cast while holding it.

I am back in internet range for 2-3 days. Thank you for your patience.

I approve of the marching order. Keep in mind that Cailte is good at ranged attacks but absolutely sucks in melee. I can also hide very well. (90% in natural surroundings and 1-2 in 6 in dungeons.)

Me too. The thief will check all doors before they are opened, then get out of the way so a front-line type can bash it in.

I will be leaving from Friday to Monday on vacation. Back Monday night or Tuesday.

Please post your actions(if you haven't already).

I will post action for first round Friday. If you don't post by then, you will lose your action. If you don't post by Tuesday, my return I'll have to drop you & look for another player.
I don't mean to be a jerk, but its not fair to other players to wait for days. Checking a thread once every two days. If you cant for a bit, I understand- that's NOT a problem. But if you get too busy & just cant/don't want to KEEP up with the game, its ok to drop out.
Just LMK. No hard feelings. I want to keep it flowing.

At the tower

Are Marda the Dwarf and Cailte the Halfling with us? I assume they're back at the Keep, as they haven't been online in a long while. Unless you NPC them? Just curious so as to measure our group fighting capability.

They will be dropped & replaced at first chance.

I will recruit more players as soon as I can.

You guys should be able to handle it! The less of you, the greater the share of GLORY & TREASURE!!!

Hi Bloodaxe, on the recently posted map, is that 10' per square, and can we tell if all that is within the tower's first floor or did we descend underneath? Thanks.
