I am not going to reroll, since I feel I am slowing you guys down. It is a great game, but missing a round because of slow posting cost us.
I will be lurking, good luck!
Sorry to hear that. I dont think you cost us, well, other than not rolling enough 20s...
Good luck in your other games around here.

I missed a post. Could have used sleep on the trogs, but didn't, then it was too late. Not a problem here, just bowing out gracefully.
Re: More Anything Goes
I got the intention of getting you/Garth raised. But as a halfling, who has seldom ever left home before, he knows nothing of how to get that accomplished. If given the opportune, Shannigans would have cut your finger off, in hopes of regeneration or something. But they buried the druid before I woke up!!!
Now the halfling has to dig you up. And he's ok with that.

DM Edit:
The following post was meant for this thread, but posted in the Character Sheet thread on accident. Moving (copying) here and deleting from there:
---
Chicago just won the 2013 Stanley Cup!
2013 / 8 = 252xp
Admittedly a bit of a "cheap" award, so if anyone is not interested in claiming it... feel free to let me know.
---
Grats, Mr. GM.
29 years is a long time to wait for a cup...
I won't complain if you have one too many celebrating and accidentally award all of us some bonus XP, now would I?
No sir, I wouldn't.

But looking at the character sheets reminded me of something... Raven, you still need to adjust your stats. Sorry, bro. Fair is fair and all that.

It was definitely your influence that swayed him Ethan! Nice one DM!
Re: More Anything Goes
Ill take the cheap xp too. I didnt study the roster in Sports Illustrated for nothing.
Re: More Anything Goes
I'll take it.
Wait till you see the XP Bonus I give in my game if the Browns ever win a superbowl.
The Buckeyes winning a national championship wouldn't be bad either.

I just need to figure out what kind of event we can identify that awards 167+ points.
Are we near another post count threshold?

Don't worry I hear you actually pass out and start breathing again before you die.
Besides that is why the award wouyld be substantial.
Notice you didn't say anything about the Buckeyes though

Re: More Anything Goes
What about something to do with the last Cards/Cubs 4-game series last week? We could take the total number of Cubs runs and divide it by... er... no, that would be a negative number. Hmmm... we could just go with the total number of wins... no...onlyme wrote:I just need to figure out what kind of event we can identify that awards 167+ points.

Ah, well... give me some time to work with the numbers and I'll figure something out.

sorry, I must have missed something - which stats need updating? Is this a +10 to intelligence for being an Eagles fan?Alethan wrote:But looking at the character sheets reminded me of something... Raven, you still need to adjust your stats. Sorry, bro. Fair is fair and all that.

All stats have to have at least one die roll added to it, so you would have to lower one of your 18s to bump up those two "naked" 9's.

Re: More Anything Goes

There goes my bonus XP...

Re: More Anything Goes
Thanks... but, actually, the Blackhawks won the Cup in 2010, too, so it hasn't been that long. Still, hockey is the one sport my wife will actually watch with me (football or baseball, forget it!) so I tend to get pretty excited once the NHL playoffs roll around since that is when she starts to get into it.Alethan wrote:Grats, Mr. GM.
