"What in blazes crawled up their arses?" Gwilt mumbles, mostly to himself.
He raises an eyebrow in surprise as the newcomer introduces himself... and then both eyes toggle between half open and half closed as the stranger goes into a long winded recitation on the habits of orcs.
"Welcome... Epsilon. Interesting name, by the way. I happen to have a somewhat pious aunt named Alpha... maybe you are of the same order?" He searches his memory for the name of her order, but it eludes him, so he dismisses it with a wave of his hand. "No matter... Come, join us! Have you any idea what's got these people all in a tizzy, then?" he finishes in a quieter voice.
OOC: I don't really have an aunt named Alpha. But I do have a niece with that name. And that side of the family is annoyingly pious. She's named after her great grandmother (on the other side of the family), who is still alive and, from what I heard, thought it was quite daft to give a child her name in this day and age... I asked my brother about it and they said they planned on calling her Ally all along. No idea why they didn't just name her that in the first place, then... lol.

You have been on the philosophical rant today. I think it time you took your meds.
My mom had an Aunt Sis and an Uncle Brother. Luckily from different sides of the family.
oh---and Wolfpack, Welcome, sir.

Strom leans in close to Ewell and whispers My ability only allows me to sense evil by degree. Those around us I feel a lesser degree of evil from; I think like minor acts as opposed to major ones. He looks around before continuing I wish I could be more specific but my own experience of detecting the subtleties is limited
He then leans back on speaks on a louder voice, Well met Epsilon. I am Strom. It would please me greatly to speak with you if you would join us. He points to an empty chair at the table.

Rant? RANT? I don't rant.
I percolate, yes. And I may occasionally diatribe. Once I even bombasted. Certainly have never ranted, though.
And yes, indeed! Welcome to the game, wolfpack! Looking forward to running with you on the other side of the [DM] screen, as it were!

I would be happy to join your fellowship, allow me to heal your wounds warrior
Epsilon will stand beside Strom and pull his ankh from his belt pouch. Holding it high he closes his eyes and places his other hand on Strom's forehead and says loudly
May the blessings of Thoth flow to your brow and cover you with the waterfall of knowledge knitting your wounds
I rolled the cure light wounds, I didn't know if we roll or you roll.
Same to you Ale, looking foward to it.

Shannigans eats something, whether served to him or not. He fidgets at the end of the table, playing with food.
He fashions the meal before him into resembling the goblins cave corridor, casting veggies for walls and breads for the path. Without raising his head, he scans about, eyes and ears beginning to focus on the immediate dialog, waiting for his opportunity to show the
map to the others.
ooc: Should I roll for mapping?

You go ahead. I only make rolls when players forget, or when it's for an action the player wouldn't know the outcome of (e.g. hide in shadows).

Garth eats and sips his wine.
Not really sure what to make of the two shiny knights, he listens.
"It may just provide balance Strom, there can be no good without evil." But Garth looks around the room none the less.

That link totally made its 'hide in shadows' check because I completely missed it.

Yes, Strom and Ewell. Shinny in character, if not appearance.

After listening to the conversations about the vibes picked up by the others, the halfling 'drops' one of his eating utensils. He dips below the table line to retrieve it, all the while looking for any signs of trouble that this low position may divulge. He doesn't stay down long, and soon goes back to the plate before him, blowing, then wiping the butterknife.

Yes, this may seem like a silly award, especially with 2,000 posts not far behind, but this post from Nuke66 was the 1,600 post in the game; matching the total current post count of the '
Slave Pits of the Undercity' game, which is the first game I took part in when joining this website.

Huzzah!
After healing strom epsilon has a seat.
Oh wench could you bring me a glass of your finest wine and a bowl of pepper humus please.
Looking at the others in the group
As I was saying orcs are interesting humanoids, one has to ponder how a race of ignorant brutal vagabonds who dominate each other through violence could possibly thrieve in the way they do. One would think that the infighting, backstabbing, lack of enlightenment and inability to work together freely towards a common goal would keep their numbers and influence at a relativley low level.
It truly is a conundrum is it not
He says with a chuckle, completly oblivious to the discussion of detected evil.

Strom feels the blessing course through his body and all but cure him of his ailments.
My thanks to you friend Epsilon.
He turns to Garth and says Indeed in many a balance is kept but for some the scales shift more to one side..
Woot, more xp! Although I have not been keeping track of when we have been given it, I will update my sheet today.

I've been tracking experience points here: 01. Experience Points
If you show a different amount, I will update my records, but it is the player responsibility to prove where the discrepancy lie.

"Epislon, have you been in town long? When I was through here a few days ago, I left in pursuit of a band of orcs harassing the towns folk. This group of worthies have dealt a final blow to such a group - have you heard speak of such who would be interested in such news? What do you make of this town?" Alordan asks quietly.
