Sorry for absence. My bout of sickness actually ended with five days on a nebuliser just to regulate my breathing and eventually break the COVID mucus up that was drowning my lungs.

After three plus weeks I can finally taste beer and spicy food.

I wish. More like a can from the fridge and some Merguez spicy sausage from Costco with feet up on the sofa. I will be on antibiotics for a while to clear the airways of mucus but that is a slow process.

Keep at and you will get there, just have to keep pointed in the right direction.

Apologies to Carling for charming him. Things got out of control and I couldn't think of ideas to readily fix it, and certainly not while in character. Lestadt threw out the charm idea, so I ran with it. Maybe we can claim insanity by charm, and now if someone checks, there will be a charm on him. Not trying to hang him out to dry by having him surrender, just trying to keep him alive.

I have detect Charm and almost offered to use it but felt it would be better if a NPC the townies trust use it

The idea was for Draxon to get aboard and ride me back to town.

Strolling back into town after fleeing on the back of a rhino, I thought it was the best way to provide him with plausible deniability.

Carling was ditched in the forest and Redgrave turned from rhino to dwarf on the town outskirts and walked in alone.

I thought there was enough distance between me and the searching guards who were still in the woods to go about town without being pointed out.
