Anyone travelling cold (recruits?) is guaranteed survival - its down to lottery winning / lightning striking fractions of a percent.

Thanks Tiglath. Yeah, I think the recruits will be travelling cold and we keep the the officers warm. How many can we fit into the staterooms set aside?

Two per stateroom unless you go "Full Swordy" and start hotbunking and possessing only three socks (old submariner's wheeze: left (fresh) , right (ex left) and one in the wash/drying in your pocket).

The unit has five staterooms allocated (so 10 beds) and one bed room sharing with a crew member if you need it.

You can deduce that the liner is full to capacity.

How are we fixed on purchasing and recruitment?

I (perhaps mistakenly) seem to believe the kit is sorted and you have recruited 12(?) recruits.

I think we'd drafted our purchasing intentions and we were just waiting on a confirmation of recruit numbers before posting our final list.

Is that 12 troopers or are there some officers too? We should be able to start putting together a final command structure.

You were able to recruit three guys over few days last time around.

Seeing as your stock's pretty high right now after the Bartizan raid you reckon a week with Jess in the front window of Ridgeway's bar would net you another 10 or 12 recruits with basic training (Collace PDF has a staff retention issue).

That would fill your three squads/fire teams with "riflemen" @ Rifle 1 Grenade Launcher 0.

You may get some bigger fish too!

Bike sounds very much like in contact with (and making more of) the 'orrible dust.

Inchin sounds more and more like a planet you want to maintain a distance from - even if it's minimal.

After consultation with Tiglath, I think the best use for those two navy gauss pistols in the loot is to let Voss have them to use instead of his machine pistols, due to their better penetration.

They are TL13 handguns so availble on Collace if you need more. However, new purchases will be in the standard auto pistol "Army" configuration (no autofire).

Here's an answer to a question I can't quite find upthread...

Drivers: All of your Collace recruits have Grav 0 (high tech world) and also because they are from Collace they are entirely familiar with driving other people's grav vehicles...

They are all male except: Easy, Ink and Love who are female.

Freddie is apparently known as "Camp Freddie" for unknown reasons (but actually because of the character so named in the Italian Job - proper version).

He therefore has Grav Vehicle 1!
