Re: The Starport Dive
I have been busy between the World Series and an unusual schedule that left little time to post
Re: The Starport Dive
I may have enjoyed serially serendipitous social events...
And quenched a rare thirst no doubt developed with all this typing about all this Dionysiac activity.
And I'll have you know my pub navigation (Pub Nav 4) has only ever been described by witnesses as "magnificent".
This is yer quality "method" GMing! Oh, and yet, the moans... !
Updates Saturday GMT.

Re: The Starport Dive
I had a chance to talk with the guy that wrote the fabrication and deconstruction rules today. Amazingly, he said my reading of the rules and extrapolation of the tech to create Metz's TL17 deconstruction/fabrication chamber (and the TL19 version that he is making for use now) is accurate, though I undervalued it by about six times! It can even reuse the raw materials like I envisioned with only a 1% loss in the process. That's pretty cool. He agrees that it will break the universe just as I intended! He has no idea the lengths I'll go with it, but I'm inside the rules on that one.

I’m flying to Vegas today. I wonder if Thumper is up front. If there’s turbulence, he gets negative DMs for a week.

Nah, I’m not flying today. So the bumps are all yours!
Just remember…you never want to fly with a pilot with the callsign “Lucky”. “Skip” ain’t a good one either!

When I was a air controller for the CG, my call sign was Hammer Head, a bit of CG history and joking on my Norwegian roots.
Re: The Starport Dive
I was a civilian controller, so I had to make do with my initials: "JR".

Say your facility?
My brother is still at the ATC Command Center, and two of his kids are at ARTCCs. Both in TMU. I started my military career as a controller before going to pilot training. I was a CFI before that even.
