Sorry I was involuntarily unplugged by a winder storm late Friday 12/16 and did not get power, heat or internet back until some time Sunday. By that time I was at an Airbnb and didn't get back home until yesterday around lunch time and had to take care of a lot of things. I'm back now though!

I have been rolling encounters with real dice just to save a little time, but if you would like to see them (some DMs on here show the rolls) I can do that. I am fine with it either way. If you want to take a look or follow along, encounters are covered in the Campaign section of the main rules.

Rolling real dice doesn't bother me.

Can Arngeir tell the difference between an Eynwif's Apple with +20% and one with +50%, either at the time of casting or later?

I would say yes, but only someone who knows the invocation could.

In reality I think you are correct. In the game I don't think there are any rules that it would impact, but I always try to encourage realistic play over catering to the rules in any system.
