Creature #1: [1d20] = 6
Creature #2: [1d20] = 10
Don't know what modifiers they have but I think it easy to say #1 takes 3 points of damage. Creature #2 needs a +3 mod or it takes 3 damage as well.

The creatures in and around the rune room are dealt with.
The only enemies you are now aware of are around the corner

Lothien follows Quelnaar to the doorway, retrieving the dart he threw along the way. He peers into the room using darkvision.

3of4
Moves around the corner ready to face down whatever might be waiting for them, making sure to wheel around to the left side of the corridor to offer room for Sade.

The two creatures in the doorway both take the full blast of Qelnaar's lightning bolt.
Sade and 3of4 take up position at the junction of the corridor.
Awwrak hurries to catch up with them.
Lothien takes a spot behind the two warriors.

Arriving too late last round,
Awwrak follows the others forward and shoots when an enemy comes into view.
(Holding as a ready action.)
Longbow [1d20+6] = 17+6 = 23[1d8+4] = 2+4 = 6

Lothien again points his palm at one of the things and a puff of noxious gas flies towards its face.
Poison Spray. Constitution ST or take 1d12 damage. [1d12] = 10

The two creatures smoking from the lighting bolt courtesy of Qelnaar duck back through the doorway.
The door to that room stands open and you hear plenty of noise coming from it.
The door further down the passage to the right has gone quiet.

Wait... you skipped everyone else's attacks on them, so I assumed they were dead? I am confused.

The two creatures were about twenty feet down the passageway.
Qelnaar was at the corner ahead of everyone.
By the time anyone else reached the corner, the creatures had jumped back through the doorway

From the room to the intersection is only 15', right?
Quelnaar gets there first. Lothien and Awwrak are behind him in the hallway so at most 10' from the intersection, and have ranged attacks. 3of4 and Sade are coming from the room (say 20' to the intersection) and attacking with melee. With Sade having 40' movement as a monk, she should be able to reach them 20' down the hallway. 3of4 is the only one without enough movement, but as a fighter he could dash 60', reach them easily, and attack with his Action Surge.
I just don't understand how this is unfolding. Movement is really important in 5e; perhaps some clearer maps or description? I apologise - I just am not tracking.

Quelnaar was attacking while you guys were finishing off the creatures in the other room (or at least that is how I was interpreting the action)
You aren't just going to jump up and immediately move to a new threat when you're just done with the others.
There is natural delay while you check to make sure the bodies are down and no one else is there.
I obviously need to be clearer with how I'm seeing things play out and make sure you guys know where you stand (literally)
The scale of my map compared to what I'm using is off, so that is contributing to the confusion.
Plus I think a lack of 5E familiarity with respect to movement isn't helping

(We'll reset so we can avoid confusion. I'll make a point to make movement, scale etc clearer to avoid anymore issues)
You are gathered at the junction of the passageway and the two creatures have ducked back into the room to the left and the noise and chittering from the room further down the hall on the right has stopped.

(Holding as a ready action.)
Longbow [1d20+6] = 17+6 = 23[1d8+4] = 2+4 = 6
Then, normal round action:
Longbow [1d20+6] = 20+6 = 26[1d8+4] = 1+4 = 5
(Critical hit)

As you advance slowly up the passageway, the door to the left slams shut as you get within around five feet or so.
You hear movement inside the room as the closing of the door echoes down the hallway.
From the direction of the room with the runes on the floor you hear whispering.

3of4 looks from the door to behind the party and then to Sade as if awaiting orders.
