That is an excellent notion, Avaala. I wish to earmark my portion for assisting the villagers. Also, would one of you please retrieve the other disk? We should see if having the two together changes something.
He feels he Is overlooking something important information about the disks...
If it would please you, I would say a prayer for our departed friend when he is laid to rest. I could carry the body for a while.

Judson takes his share of the loot. Thank you. Judson also eyes the longsword with interest. hmmm...I too would like to claim the sword. Is there a way we can decide who gets it other than fighting for it.
ooc: perhaps a d20 roll. Highest roll gets it?

Thank you, Gramble. Now what can they mean, or how are they used? Or are they a distraction? He looks at the two disks, trying to understand their significance.
Player thinks there is a very large vending machine in the structure, or someone collects giant pogs.

Avaala speaks up. "If we are going to carry Eawad's body with us until we find a proper interment and ceremony, then we should head back to Beachtown now. On the other hand, if we are willing to temporarily bury him and reclaim him later, then we should continue on here. But burying him deep enough to keep his remains from being despoiled is going to be a significant task."

Before my next post, I will try to do a little bookkeeping here.
Everyone can record 3gp and 2sp on their sheets.
That leaves 1pp, 1gp, 4sp, and the 6 gems left to divide up.
Avaala is holding on to the potion for now.
Saracen wins the Long sword roll, (with a frickin 3
) so he can take that. (if there is no other interest)
The dagger can be rolled for as well. Anyone who wants in can go ahead and give me a d20 roll, highest one takes it. (Maag can take it if there is no other interest)
Anyone who wants some of Eawads stuff is welcome to it. Storm has the water skin and bullets. Jax has the thieves tools. Maag has the lute.
The remainder of his stuff can be packed away and brought back with you if you like.
His body can be packed in more of the cocoon webbing and stored in this room if you like. (If not, I will need to know what you want to do with it. I don't think anyone brought a shovel)
Saracen took some of the spiders bones and Avaala took the eyes, fangs, and poison glands.
Did I miss anything?

Jaxsen has already offered to carry out any of Eawad's gear no one else took. Eawad was nice enough to supply large bags. If no one else wants them, Jaxsen will take Eawads daggers. (Nice thing about looting 1st levels.... all their stuff is in new condition!)
EDIT: Hey, OG, how do Jaxsen and Eawad compare in sizes? As in clothes and shoes? Jax could actually use an upgrade.

Inside The Wooden Structure
The Spoils
Freeday, 5th of Goodmonth
Late Morning, Hot, Humid
Gramble retrieves the first copper disk for the goodly brother without incident. The discs are exactly the same size and width, and even though the pattern isn't the same on both, the purple etching looks like a perfect match. Nothing happens when they are reunited, but they clearly serve some purpose.
The dead body of Eawad is starting to cause the group some concern, as is their next move.
Faced with a choice of checking the webbed veil across the hall, continuing up the next passage, or returning to town, most of the group seems willing to press on despite their recent loss of a party member.
Actions?
Jax and E are close enough in size to share clothing. I will resolve any other rolls for the dagger in my next post. Where to next?

Jax takes the two daggers from Eawad's belongings and tucks them into his belt. As he looks through the gear, he realizes that he and Eawads are about the same size. Noting the decrepit condition of his own clothes, he takes Eawad's and put them on, along with his much newer leather shoes. He then places all of Ewads remaining gear in one of the large sacks.
He dusts himself off and says, "Since there is some question about what to do with his body, I'll wrap it up in the cocoon webbing and tuck him up under the spider's body. whatever might eat him will have to eat the spider first, and there may be something to carry back when we are done." And the young monk proceeds to do exactly that.

OOC: I've added Eawad's items to Jax' sheet minus the items claimed by others. If Jax wanted the items, they are on his own weapons and Inventory list. Everything else is in his Notes section.
