Spotting the red priest Stobart swears under his breath, realising he has nothing that can reach the priest.

He puts Meinhardt down and uses his last spell to heal the wizard, praying that it's enough to wake him:

Stobart tries to tie the rope around Meinhardt so he can be pulled up.
Hey! One action per round, please! You think I wouldn't notice?

One Short Of A Baker's Dozen
Coming Back To Life
Early Afternoon, Warm Clear

Outside

Renna rushes back outside to tie a rope off for Stobart, who is currently praying for healing over the unconscious Meinhardt on the ledge below. She does not notice the red robed Priest standing on the ledge above hers, who is currently focused on the distant Skeletons chasing Bugs. Unfortunately, the healing isn't enough to get the Mage back on his feet.

Sprinting towards the Bugbears, the little gnome doesn't even notice that the Skeletons suddenly stop following him after turning around to head towards the others again, leaving him suddenly face to....ummmm......knee with a pair of massive monsters that tower over the much smaller Gnome. "You forget something, tiny?"

Ithrandir pokes his head outside the cave for a moment to see 4 Skeletons headed directly for Stobart on the ledge below.

Inside

Much the the chagrin of Keya, seeing the horrific cat in full view for the first time causes Magdal to quickly succumb to its debilitating visage, suddenly standing there frozen in fear. (you can roll me a D3 for that duration in lieu of your next action) He rushes over to grab the dagger from her as the Mummy Cat finally rips the rest of the cloak away, freeing itself enough to become a threat again.

The Cat doesnt even try to escape the fight, leaping up at the Ranger as it hisses wildly, unable to penetrate his armor. (I cant roll to hit anything lately.) Keya gets the dagger in place just in time to make a perfect slice at the undead creature, ripping a wide gash in the side of the former animal as dried stuffing and noxious dust escape from the things former innards. (double damage from the nat 20) Much to his horror, the injury does nothing to stop the ferociousness of this enemy, who spins around quickly for another attack.

Daliedhur takes another swing at the Skeleton trying to kill him, but his mace goes flying across the room instead without injuring the undead further. He calls for Gyb to help the unconscious Tammuz instead of helping him out of this dangerous mess, and the cautious Monk is happy to oblige. He grabs the legs of the fallen Flind and starts dragging him from the lovely room of death.

While this is happening, the Skeleton smacks at Daliedhur again, but is unable to get past his impressive defenses. The elf still hears the moaning from one table where Rida remains unmoving for the moment, the tubes and wires still sticking into his head and face in many places. Hearing the hissing Cat outside the room, the green cloud of gas floating near the ceiling starts moving towards the door as well.

Daliedhur

Cursing his lack of discipline, Daliedhur steels his resolve and attacks the skeleton again.

Mace vs Skeleton [1d20+2]=14+2=16 Damage [1d6+3]=2+3=5

"Careful friends!" - he warns the others - "That monstrosities' master is heading outside - he has used magic to turn into smoke!"

Ithrandir

"Dammit! Renna, Stobart! For skeletons are coming for you, Stobart, and Meinhardt. We have to hurry!"

"Crobeus, come and help us. With three wounded we HAVE to retreat after this."

He rushes to where Renna is and tried to help her bring both Stobart and Meinhardt up with the rope.

Bugs

"I didn't forget anything! Help me kill them!" He turns, blade in hand, to face the mini horde.

And stands there slack-jawed, watching the bony backsides run the other way.

"Dammit. Will you come back and help us?" Bugs has only a moment to wait for an answer before he starts running back after the skeletons.

Crobeus - Human Paladin

Unsure of the best course of action, the Paladin nevertheless chooses one- most likely the worst option. Turning to Ithrandir, he fills the elf in on his plans. "I'm going to see if the others need help getting out of here. I'm sorry I got you involved in this, but right now I need to try to get as many away from this place as I can." He then sprints into the cavern looking for his cohorts.

Renna

Renna will try and keep herself aware of her surroundings as she waits for the rope climbing. She will be actively looking around her especially watching her flank and rear.

Gyb

Gyb realizes that dragging Tammuz through the room with the mummy-cat will leave him wide open to attack. For the moment he leaves the flind on the floor.

Instead he darts back into the room and jams his javelin into Rida before he can rise off the table.

Am I right in assuming this is an automatic hit since Rida is still just lying there?

One Short Of A Baker's Dozen
Coming Back To Kill
Early Afternoon, Warm Clear

Outside

Stobart takes the time to secure the rope from Renna around the unconscious Meinhardt so he can be lifted to the next level. By the time he has finished, the four Skeletons are upon him, about to attack.

Keeping a lookout all around, Renna sees the Skeletons coming closer and also spots the red robed Priest still standing above her on the next ledge. Just as she is about to start pulling on the rope to lift Meinhardt, she spots something strange suddenly manifest next to her. It doesn't appear to be completely physical, like some kind of force field of sorts, though it is roughly hammer shaped. It currently floats in the air next to her on the ledge.

Leaving the wounded Loyn behind, and yelling bloody murder as he approaches, the badly wounded Ithrandir eventually joins Renna at the ledge in hopes to retrieve Meinhardt and Stobart so they may escape this place together. When he gets there, he sees the Skeletons have already arrived at the spot where the others are below.

Bugs waits to see if the huge Bugbears will join him, but they have already made their choice clear to the last group who asked them. "We don't like Gnolls.....but......you have something to offer for our help? Treasure or food or weapons?"

Inside

The green cloud moves through the open doorway out into the area beyond the room, remaining near the ceiling as it travels.

Keya stabs at the Mummy Cat again, causing another minor wound as it violently rakes his face with both claw and bite. 4 dam

Magdal seems frozen in time with the fear given off from this strange enemy. All she can do is watch until this effect wears away naturally, unless one of her friends wants to try helping her.

Suddenly, Crobeus arrives on the scene next, panting heavily after sprinting with unnatural speed in full armor through the passages to get here. (took a little liberty with the movement factor for you) :D He is unaffected by the fear factor from the horrific cat monster, and the clearly evil pint sized creature doesn't seem thrilled to see him either.

Shouting out a warning to the others, Daliedhur moves across the room to retrieve his fumbled weapon. Hit again as he picks it up 3 dam, he smashes at the only remaining threat in the room, delivering another blow that finally takes the thing out completely.

Always willing to help, Gyb stops dragging Tammuz and instead stabs the moaning Rida in the chest with his javelin, putting a permanant end to the dying man's cries for help. The screeching from the dead cat in the next room is all that can be heard inside this room now.

Turning, the cleric sees the skeletons almost upon him. He positions himself in front of Meinhardt and starts to quietly sing a hymn to Fharlanghn as he strikes at the closest bony horror.

Bugs

"Gnolls?! The Gnolls are dead! But fine. I have..." Bugs glitches as he tries remembering his coin purse. "seven gold. After we fight. Come on, let's go!"

He clearly wants to rush back to the others, but also wants the bugbears to join.

Gyb sees the dry stuffing spilling from the side of the mummy-cat. He grabs his torch from where he laid it whilst dragging Tammuz. Then he runs into the room and takes a swing at the monstrosity.

Ithrandir fires two arrows at the skeletons.

Long Bow - To Hit [1d20+1]=8+1=9; Damage S/M/L [1d6]=2

Long Bow - To Hit [1d20+1]=11+1=12; Damage S/M/L [1d6]=1

Maybe plus something to hit from being on the higher ground? If that brings something.

Renna

Renna seeing the hammer coming into shape knows that a beating is coming her way from the Red Priest. She will move towards the trees to her northwest. She will attempt move along the ridgeline keeping 40-50+ feet between her and the Red Priest and waiting for him to be solid again. If possible she will maintain visibility but distance first, visibility second.

Unsure exactly what is going on here, the paladin nevertheless realizes that whatever the hissing creature may be, it is definitely not friendly. So, he stabs it.

If it is possible, I want to make sure he is stable.
Then check the mummy cat and caster in smoke form.
If all these have been handled, not wanting to leave completely empty handed, Daliedhur will cast a Detect Magic to survey the room where he almost lost his life.
