Just moving this along.

After travelling about 5 miles (about 1/3 day travel in this terrain) it would be a little past dawn. The light is rising over the mountains in a beautiful morning orange and brings a welcome warmth to the morning. There has been no other evidence of being followed by the Shtelke or anything else. There is a reasonable place for a camp, so that others can finish their evenings rest.

"Lets rest, I can take first watch."

Hex slumps down in exhaustion and relief. Souxsie, can you conjure us the phantom wood again? I will set out my remaining warning stones.

Raffi is also knackered. But he will volunteer to take first watch with the ranger if others want to catch some sleep.

Nah Olos "We should seek those trailing us and take them out. They'll lead reinforcements and the dragon here. We won't get proper rest."

"He has a point. We have been reactive so far. I have an extra dimensional space some of us could hide in for an ambush, but it will only last a few hours."

The illusion will not fool a dragon but may delay others exploring close to use. Sheltering in a different dimension could give us time to study spells.

She will cast her Hallucinatory Forest.

"The enchantment will only last a little over three hours and there is space for up to six, including myself."

"So are we resting or going after the ones that followed us?"

"We voted to come here and rest. Have the spellcasters rest and then study or pray in the secret room." barks Androgost

Hex nods his head. It makes sense to use the extra-dimensional space for a while. We need eight hours of rest before we can recover our magic, but it will at least guarantee us some peace. With the added defender of the illusionary forest we could make it for the day.

"Sounds like a good plan Hex. Since we only have limited space, how about only the spellcasters in it. The rest of us will stay outside."

Boff will go about setting camp and eating a cold meal, hoping to get a bit of rest before his turn at guard. Before it gets too dark, he will take his spool of fine wire and run some between a few likely trees and/or boulders. No chance that it will slow anyone or anything down, but at least it might make them announce themselves.

"We will not have enough time to both sleep and regains spells in the space, as I have said, it will only last just over three hours."

Nah Olos helps set the camp and takes a turn on watch.

In the Jotens - After Mid-Day.

The adventurers get the rest they require and then the Garrant pulls about 20' of rope out of the bag on his belt with the rope suspending in air. The spellcasters (Siouxsie, Garrant, Hex and Franny) climb up a disappear into a void in the space. The rope is pulled up behind them. The spellcasters study and/or pray and can get the full set of spells. Please note if there are any spells that were hoped to be cast before studying / praying please post them before my next main post and if you are good please post that as well.

When all of this is complete it is between noon and 1 PM.

Hex will thank Garrant for the spell, wishing he could also learn it.

When he sees Raffi he will immediately move over to him and cast Phantom Armour upon him. And then proceed to cast it upon himself as well.

That done, the gnome will pack up his things and prepare for the day ahead.

What is our plan today? Is our goal to move past the dragon and continue on if we can or take the fight to the dragon and its minions?
