I’ve got to turn in this book by COB Saturday. I’ll be on late and probably not really verbose. Gotta wrap up this series.

Only problem for working for oneself is that one has a terrible boss.

I’m a pretty lenient boss.

I'm terribly lax - I'm even letting myself go eating and drinking this Friday!

So I'll be therefore mildly MIA Friday evening (Blighty Time).

Two more full days of self editing and I’ll be done. They’ll both be all day affairs.

Just wrapped up today's work. Another full day tomorrow and this book and its 16-book series will be done. Three years of my professional life. Hope I stick the landing.

That's fantastic, Terry. It's been fun watching you turn a hobby into a career.

It wasn’t even a hobby. I was just peeved that I wasn’t finding what I wanted to read. Then you sent me that manuscript and I asked myself why I couldn’t do that. You were the impetus for me going down this path. Thank you.

Thanks. Hope you keep enjoying the series. I turn in the final book in the series (#16) in a few hours, once I finish the final read through.

It would have too much drama and explosions for the gov.

Drama, no. Explosions, yes! Planning lots of destructive testing (involving explosives and running our product on the Mint 400 race course).

Well, you've always been a great writer, and I'm honored to have given you that little push

And off goes the book to the publisher. I still need to handle the edits and beta reader comments, but this is done.
I'll take a few days off to unwind, then I'll read the Empire of Bones novel that has been waiting for me to self-edit and get it off to a contract editor so I can get it published, too.
Then I'll start something totally new. SQUEEEEEE!!!!!!
That will make 42 novels I have written completely under my own name (even though some show a second author, I wrote them from first page to last) and 5 more that I wrote 50% of. Not bad.

Got word from Eris today that while he wishes he could keep playing this game, life, the universe, and everything tells him that it isn't in the cards. I'll be NPCing Spicoli from this point more directly. On we march.
