Ferris
Ever observant noticed this golem has a rib short and slightly wider pelvis to the other one.
"Must be that other one's mate. 'Bone of my bone' and all that."
He prepares to load his crossbow to fire next round

Uther
Uther muttered several curses to himself as he witnessed practically every single friendly target in melee range become ensnared in his web spell. The wizard readied his dagger and prepared to cut free one of his companions should they struggle to break free themselves.
OOC: Basically, should one of the melee fighters fail their Strength check, Uther will attempt to cut them free of the web with his magical dagger.

McTavish
Surprised by the webbing appearing all around them, the dwarf is stuck and is barely able to turn his head and glare at Uther. "You couldn't pick a better moment to cast that??" barked McTavish irritably. The dwarf tries to free himself from the webbing with attempts furious stunted thrashing with his dwarven arms and leg.
Strength Check (13): [1d20]=18

Uther
Uther glared at McTavish and began to cut the dwarf free of the webbing. "Hey, it's not my fault you lot go blundering in straight away before assessing the situation!" the shrouded man snapped back.
OOC: Now in seriousness, I'm not quite sure how Initiative is being handled as we're never asked to roll. I was a bit tardy in replying to the thread due to a technical glitch, but had I replied more quickly I probably would have had Uther yell "Stand back!" or something to that effect to keep the melee fighters out of the area of effect. I just decided (perhaps incorrectly) that my slow response meant I was slow in the Initiative order. /shrug

Re: Part 1: Fighters Academy (IC Section 1)
McTavish is stuck still for the moment. i do group init as was in the battle summary post at the top that is why i never ask for an initiative roll ever. I went merely by weapon and spell casting times to determine what happened first both spell castings were faster than the melee weapons in use.

Re: Part 1: Fighters Academy (IC Section 1)
OOC: So technically in game Uther could have told the melee fighters to stay clear? Good to know for the future. Could have avoided a bunch of this mess then. Thanks.

Re: Part 1: Fighters Academy (IC Section 1)
Yes but if they never posted again amending actions they still would wind up in webs so really the way i look at it, it's their fault they weren't good like Ferris in passing the saveZeromancer wrote: ↑Thu Jun 03, 2021 9:30 pm OOC: So technically in game Uther could have told the melee fighters to stay clear? Uther manages to help free McTavish. Ferris shoots the immobile golem for 12 dmg. The golem remains stuck.

Re: Part 1: Fighters Academy (IC Section 1)
The golem is held in place until the spell wears off so pretty much free attacks, more than is worth me counting rounds in posts.

Ferris
If the golem us counted as stunned or prone by being webbed then do we get a +4 to hit in range fire?
ferris crossbow [1d20+5]=12+5=17 bolt damage [1d4+1]=1+1=2
The gnome continues to pepper the skeleton with crossbow bolts.

Yagul
Yagul will let Ferris finish him off, then hack his way to him and take his weapons and anything of value. "The last one of these had a magic scimitar we should check everything on it."
