I know Traveller maps are two-dimensional for playability purposes, but an object that doesn't emit energy could be parked above or below any star system and be undetected as readily as locating it somewhere in the galactic ecliptic plane.
It possibly can be. We have to live with the map as it is (2D) but I get the concept.
I agree I think (as per Garvin's last) that the idea I'm fumbling about with is that we really wouldn't need to necessarily move the gate very far to effectively hide it on our own terms.

I’ve got to finish the writing part of my current book tomorrow. I anticipate being buried in that all day so you might not see anything from me tomorrow until bedtime. Don’t lose hope! I’m still thinking of you!

I only managed 6 of the 10 chapters I wanted to write. Still a good day. I'll finish the writing tomorrow.

I'd expected more from you guys while I was under. I guess since the cat was away and all. ;)

Jaelah is ready to depart for Collace. I think everyone is going with her.

So, you're not wrapping anything else in the 4-5 days it will take to disassemble and store the huge fabricator wrapped around Yamaguchi? I can roll with that, but I didn't want to assume.

Someone could at least respond Ciencia after the ennoblement. ;)

Jaelah also wants to work on her new house if it's ready for the furnishings.

I'm working on a post but might not get it done until tomorrow. Did the Emperor ever respond to William?

Still a few days off.

I thought so, but now I’ll go back and look to be sure.

I didn’t. Sorry. I’ll hit it tomorrow after I finish writing the book.

sorry for my lack of attendance and short posts. Employee quit, (good reasons) and I have been working 3 16 hour days and 1 or 2 6 hour days a week. I am still very interested in playing, just time off has refocused to being home. Should be better the end of the month. In case you’re curious of the hours, I’m a dialysis nurse. Talk soon

Eric

It's been more than two months in game (current date: 1105-063) and you guys still aren't paying yourselves. Your ship's account is sitting at 1.7 billion credits. You really should get some spending money (and back pay) of your own, you know. You can afford it.

Jaelah is drawing on her funds to start the benevolences mission on Collace - and buying dinner for her parents and friends. The rest of the louts can pay for their own meals :P
