Of course all these people want to do is explain to the Baron why he should sign over the planet to them. The weapons are just for entertainment.

So it's a win for everyone but the Imperium. (and the Baron)

And once again I feel I've been taken for a mug.

Interesting. As is the fact that as an advocate for an independent 268 Frank wouldn't have a problem with this (in fact applaud the plan) if we weren't the ones being shot at. :)

Hmm. Complicated. It's tempting to let them have the Baron, but his usefulness as a bargaining chip has just gone up.

Welcome to the world of mercenaries in District 268.

Same as Regina, which is the same as the Outrim Void. Different theatres, different actors, same play.

Damn our first Trooper death, and another SW.

I guess we've been lucky so far.

We'll need to think of some kind of memorial at The Bartizan.

You are now fighting real infantry.

And, alas, yes a KIA result. Although within the realms of high tech meds he's currently "mostly dead". With the application of successful "miracles" he could be possibly/technically restored.

Do we have the meds for that or are we talking cold storage and a hospital on Collace?

In the freezer for a TL13 Trauma Room on Collace is the best and most obvious choice.

Field surgery to knock him back from "Dead" to "Serious Wound" is the other route but you need to make the success roll to avoid "losing him on the table" which makes it rather a nervous moment with the "bones". Bit of a dice/doctor pun there at no extra charge... ;)

You do have exceptional high tech meds available but not yet within the in game knowledge of those folk who could use them.

Sounds like the freezer is the way to go. It's a good job we've got the ambulance.

At the moment Jakob is "full speed ahead" and hasn't slowed down enough to do a body count. He has mastered Prerna's Mantra, though. Is the Baron visible and is Erica okay?

That's why the ambulance has Emergency Low Berths! ;) :)

As absolutely no surprise whatsoever they are specific to this medical scenario and effectively "time out" the trauma until it is occurring in the operating theatre with the surgeon fully primed to treat it.

Jess's miracle of getting one of these for practically nothing needs a reward...

Which is trying to find a nickname that reflects her ability to scrounge up such things.

She's able to juggle multiple priorities...

Being able to jiggle priorities is a vital skill in many environments.

Prerna reported the Baron's position. Jakob is moving full speed ahead, is there a way for him to get behind the Baron's captors? Or is that still even a thing?

Jakob Tactics [2d6+4]=8+4=12

Given Jakob's activity, he's probably undoing a lot of Liv's medical work. His real plan is simple; if he can smash into the Baron then he can knock him down while everyone else shoots the captors.

The Baron is not on the map, so Frank is assuming that while he was moving south, he hasn't come through the smoke yet. This is why Frank is heading that way too, and being cautious in case still has some 'minders' with him...

He was reported as having two guards and I think we've only engaged one, the guy in the black CES that took down Johnny and Nutz.

edit: I don't expect them to surrender, but at least it will hopefully distract them from Jakob

Well, there is a hidden agenda item in the back of Jakob's mind. If we can "get" the Baron, even if we turn him over to Erica or whomever, maybe we can make "All Inchin military assets, resources, and personell are transferred to SEMC, with funds for their reloation to Collace" as a part of the bargin.

"Possession is 9/10ths of the law", as they say.

Yeah, we need whatever bargaining chips we can. However, in some ways it's a bit of a poker face here as they can take us out if they need to, the arriving forces are going to be more than we can handle. However, they may need the Baron alive for their plan to get him to sign the place over, so there is that option.

How about we just offer to fly the baron away...

...Isn't there another location full of the baron's troops we to use to tempt the baron aboard? Anyone bring tranq gas?
