Apologies, slight hold up in composing Raven/priestess response. Damn dog went hunting what turned out to be a rather splendid hare in a field of tall maize. Half an hour he was gone. I saw more of the hare than him (as I patrolled the borders of the field waiting for the dog to give up his fruitless search). Put everything out of kilter, and I haven't caught myself up since. Back on schedule tomorrow.

Of course, this means I can incorporate the result of Remington's roll, so not all bad.

I'd like to toss in a +1 for Ridely falling out the airlock. Mostly because I want to see the absolute gymnastics Bindoner will have to go through if coastguarder ends up able to play at a later date. Explaining how drunkely being exposed to vacuum wasn't fatal would be full on soap-opera level writing shenanigans.

I'm still in, this has just been a high-stakes semester for me. Yesterday was my history of philosophy comprehensive exam. I have two shots to pass it or I'm out of my program, and it can include questions on every major figure from Plato through to the 20th century. So I've basically done nothing but study and go to a handful of classes for the last couple of months. But that's done! Now I wait a few weeks to find out if I passed or not.

Edit: I've got some catching up to do! I hadn't gotten an email about a new post in the main thread in at least a month, and apparently I missed a lot of squid related adventures. Sorry to just up and vanish like that.

I was considering a cultural exchange program- Rubati goes with you, the Kraken takes Ridley....

As to recovering Ridley from being "lost in space" I'd fall back on an OTU deus ex machina: the Ancients did it.

No worries, there was little for Remington to do, and all the games I'm in seem to be in slo-mo at the moment. The update alerts are a bit unreliable. I keep the private messages tab open and refresh it regularly, so any new posts in threads I've subscribed show up in the notifications shortcut.
