Rollo
I believe the Faerie Fire spell on the Ettercap offsets the -2 from the webbing for a straight roll, yes?
Rollo, beginning to get desperate, stretches out and manages to get his teeth into the monster once again.
Attack from Rollo, 2+2 Hit Dice [1d20] = 19
He picks up where he left off earlier, his massive teeth and jaws tearing and shaking at the creature, trying to make it release him.
Damage from Rollo [2d4] = 5

Avaala the Grey
Avaala leaps on the wall and starts climbing after the fleeing monster, determined to save Rollo. But although his skills are up to the task, he isn't strong enough to get to the top quickly.
Hard check against Dexterity (16) [4d6] = 12
Hard check against Strength (10) [4d6] = 12
Losing sight of the creature, he stops for a moment and then begins yelling,
"ROLLO!! Bark!! Speak!! ROLLO!!" He listens for any sound from his dog OR the monster.

Storm looks up at the escaping Ettercap and Spider. Are they both entering the foliage above? If they are both within the forty foot radius as the Halfling estimates he will cast another entangle spell to capture them both within the vines they are heading towards.

If you cant get them both inside of the 40' r., do you have a preference as to which one you want to target?

Judson attacks with a frenzy. His first attack misses badly. But after a slight correction in his balance, the fighter sinks his sword deep into the spider's abdomen.

Inside The Wooden Structure
Giant Spider Attack: Round 5
Freeday, 5th of Goodmonth
Mid Morning, Hot, Humid
The battle turns quickly in the favor of the party as the fighters tear into the gigantic spider when it attempts to flee with its snack. The behemoth arachnid gets to the webbing at the wall while sword and ax hack at its retreat. Gramble does NOT want to lose his dog, so he carves a leg off of the monster in one fell swipe of his ax. Judson jams his sword deep into the monsters body as it starts to climb. Maag likes stabbing things in the back, and this spider is no exception. He buries Arry to the hilt in the things disgusting ass just as it is about to climb out of reach. The spider lets out a exasperated bellow of air and noxious fluid from its many wounds before its movement suddenly stops. Feightus clamps onto a leg in sheer desperation, literally fighting for his life now. From about 8 feet off the ground, with the war hound still clamped tightly in its jaws, the huge beast starts to tip back off of the wall, falling backwards into the room, right above the 4 combatants below it.
I will need a normal Dex check from Jax, Gramble, Maag, and Judson to avoid being crushed from above.
On the north wall, Avaala tries to reach his pet with every once of his ability. Though he can climb the wall with relative ease, he lacks the strength to propel himself up into the branches before the beast fully retrieves Rollo and starts to make his escape through the dark canopy. The mage watches as the spectral form of the warrior priests hammer misses its mark again on the ettercap, but he is thrilled to see that Rollo has chewed through the webs on his face and is now biting hard into the spider-like humanoid's arm. Thinking that it has already made its escape this far up, the monster's first reaction is to bite back, sinking its thick fangs into the neck of the webbed dog. The attack causes Rollo to whine out loudly in pain from the vicious wound.
4 dam and a Save vs. Poison, please
As his purple targeting spell around the monster is about to wane, Storm begins casting again. As the last words of the spell leave the druids lips, the foliage overhead comes alive, wiggling and swaying, trying to entangle anything in its path. The ettercap notices this, so it drops the dog and turns to flee further up into the branches above its current position. It's movement doesn't really seem hampered by the grabbing vines, but at least Rollo doesn't fall all the way back down to the floor, still enveloped in the webs and now also stuck in the effects of the spell, 25' above the floor.
Brother Gilbert and Jeevus reluctantly make their way back to the doorway of the room just in time to see the huge dead spider about to crush 4 of their friends. Jeevus is glad that he has already received his payment for this part of the mission.
Actions!
You can still barely see the glowing ettercap overhead, but it is obviously fleeing and will be gone soon.

Avaala the Grey
Avaala starts to run to his dog, but stops short as he sees the vines and branches wriggling and grabbing. He takes the blade of his dagger in hand, ready to hurl it at the monster, should it come back. "Up here!! We're up here!! And I need help with Rollo!"

Maag
Maag jumps easily out of the way of the falling corpse.
Easy Dexterity Check (Dex 17) [2d6] = 7
Then he moves over help Avaala with his dog. Maag has no great love for dogs, seeing them as animals that bark at you when you are trying to enter a property quietly, or bite the arse out of your trousers as you try to escape over the back fence. But he does remember that Avalaa saved his life on the pirate ship.

Here's the correct roll:
Normal Dex Check [3d6] = 13

Inside The Wooden Structure
Dead Giant Spider
Freeday, 5th of Goodmonth
Mid Morning, Hot, Humid
Amazingly, none of the four fighters are crushed when the massive body of the hideous giant spider comes crashing back down to the ground with a loud splattering thud onto the stone floor. Unfortunately, Gramble's war dog doesn't fare quite as well. Though he isn't crushed by the fall, the damage he takes while still in the beasts jaws rends his wounds open even worse. The dog lays on the floor unmoving with blood running out of the deep holes in his body. Gramble rushes to his side, hoping to stop the bleeding if he can.
Saracen commands his ghost hammer to strike out at the fleeing ettercap once again, and once again, the hammer causes the creature no damage. The purple glow around the monster, as well as the hammer, suddenly vanish. The ettercap does the same, quickly disappearing into the thick foliage 25 feet above the floor.
Storm's wriggling vines and branches hold the webbed form of Rollo tight in their grasp, also 25 feet from the floor. Avaala tries to reach his dog to lend him some aid, but he cant get any closer while trying to avoid being stuck up there himself. The whimpering he can hear gives him hope that his pet still lives after the terrible bite from the spider monster. All Avaala can do in his current position is to hold onto the high wall as tight as he can and call for help. Maag walks under the mage, willing to help the man who helped rescue him once, but the half-orc isn't sure what to do with them so high off the floor. The mage knows that once the entangling spell wanes, his dog will drop the entire 25 foot distance unless a means of freeing him is devised.
Judson is proud to have taken down the huge beast, stabbing him one final time for good measure. Wise Saracen just shakes is head at the young fighters actions.
Actions?

Storm rushes to the fallen hounds side, and starts to bind the wounds. Here, help me staunch the bleeding. My but he is a brave one. he says to Gamble.
The vines will hold the other dog for about nine more minutes. Plenty of time for you guys to fashion a net out of all this foliage and some cloaks perhaps, you know to catch him when he falls.

Avaala the Grey
I'm having a hard time picturing where exactly Rollo is, in relation to the room the giant spider was in. Directly above it? Off to the side somewhere? If the following can work, Avaala will try it. If not, I need a little more clarification.
Avaala looks down and sees the corpse of the Giant Spider. "Gods," he mutters to himself. "That thing was following me up. Just one bite...." He lets the thought go. But the spider gives him another thought. "Hey!" he calls down. "Can we get that big, dead spider under Rollo? Let it break his fall? He got bit, but I think he'll be OK, if the fall doesn't kill him." He doesn't start the climb down himself yet, in case he is needed here to help with Rollo.
