So Dex what are you going to do with all your silver from this last haul? I am thinking about trying to get a black smith shop started and up and running just need a smith. I have an idea for a larger arrowhead that would do more damage when impacting armor. Wider cutting blade and all. So what do you say I buy you a drink at the Treehouse and we bury the hatchet so to speak?
Dexter Broadleaf
Dexter shakes his head mildly.
"I'm not opposed to burying hatchets and drinks in the Treehouse," says the Halfling.
"But I've spent my whole youth working. I'm looking forward to a life of adventure and ill-gotten leisure. Other than trying to improve the boats the fishermen are using, I'm done working for a living. So I'll pass on the smithy. But we'll take turns buying drinks until they throw us over the rail, fair enough? I'll be over there tonight, OK?" Dexter smiles up at the Elf, touches his forehead in salute, and exits the building.

You can keep the things you wanted from the spoils. We don’t have to RP you buying stuff back from her.

To Dex:
Sounds good to me although I have to study some spells in the morning so might not be all night at the drinking. See you there.
To Nall:
I have a Footlocker but I will be needing it to get my tent squared away. Sounds like you have plenty of things to sell. Are you interested in me repairing anything else. I have brought the lock back safe and whole again. The agreed price was a hammock but I already manage to procure one of those. What do you think it is worth to you? Tell ya what go ahead and put it on a line of credit in here and I will use it as I need things. I do need 2 small bags or sacks if you have them now if you have them, about the size of a sack of flour.
Oh and have you seen Andro around? Has he made it back from his last trip?

“It’ll be a few days though, so I hope you don’t need any of it right away. Though I must say, a good stiff belt would sound pretty good right about now. Or three.”
Ah understand completely. The trip here seemed like it took forever. And Ah can wait- Ah just need to re-stock my Kit.
Daisy looks puzzled for a split second, then smiles.
No, sugar! The moonshine goes in my kit, too. We never figured out why, but pouring a little of it over an open wound helps keep it from festering while it heals.

Daisy have you tried looking around the island for the herbs you need? There has got to be some here some where. Maybe we should try to get a group together the press in land and look for a closer water source, better soil and maybe some herbs. From the Stonegut rumors it sounds like it is either time to move or fortify this town. But who do I talk to about getting that ball rolling?

to Darklin: Ah have- an' Ah am looking around, honey. But some of them don't grow around here. And AH definitely agree we need to get a better spot to live. Some of the folks are startin' to get sick just from not eatin' the right foods. I reckon, if we can find a better spot for a town and make it safe, the people will be glad to move- 'cept maybe Liam. He's 'bout to kill himself trying to make a real farm here.

Darklin to Daisy:
What do you think about heading to the Pirate Camp that Paul talked about? If there is a waterfall and nicer area there we could grow food and the water fall would provide fresh water. We at least wouldn't have to carry it so far. When you see some of the group members let them know we are thinking about that trip. I would like a couple days to learn a new spells and fix some barrels for Marge but after that I am ready to roll out again. We need to act fast before the Dwarves return.
It would be a hard move but once their life would be easier to maintain than here.

"A pleasure, Nalissa. I'm Grimm. Don't worry, I understand things aren't as easily available here as in the mainland. I'll pay for it." The dwarf pays, gets everything he wanted, claps his heels (or however that's said in English, sorry, but I think you get my meaning lol) and bows. Then he exits de Hi-Lo.
He'll then wander around town for a bit.
25gp deducted.

“A line of credit would be fine, or just pick out something you need. I’m easy. Heck, I won’t even charge you for these.” She slides two small canvas sacks towards you across the counter.

Nallissa smiles wide, happy to meet a new face, even if it is a dwarf.
“Well. Hi. Grimm. I’m glad you understand my reasons. Thanks for shopping! Come on back and see us again sometime.”
Ya, I think claps is how we would say it here too. But what the hell do I know?

Well let me think. So you have another 10ft x 10ft tarp? That would be good to have for the new shop (or a tent floor) I am looking to build. Will that work is that to much? Don't want to take advantage of your offer. Oh I almost forgot is there any thing else you would like repaired? I think there was some leather armor that we sold you that could be cleaned up and repaired. If not that will do it for today. Thanks for the bags. Oh I almost forgot do you have any bowstrings? I need one for a project.
I'll take the Tarp and Bow string just let me know how much it will cost.

MAX
Max walks into the Hi-Lo and starts to look around. Noticing there are several people in here he just kind of walks around looking for books and at the Hammocks. Once some of the people clear out he approaches the counter.
Excuse me Ma'am but I am looking for any books that are to be had. Historical, Nature, or D.I.Y. would be find. I am new here and trying to get the lay of the land. I am also in need of one of those Hammocks over their. Do you have any that are clean? Those look kind of dirty. I also was wondering where one might find any scholar or Learned individuals that may be on the island.

"You already took my only large tarp, and my last bowstring too, if I remember correctly."
"If you want a new string and tarp, you could order them, but it will take a while to get them. If you need the string that badly, I do have one thats attached to a bow, if you wanted to buy the whole package."

"Yes, they are dirty. And well used. I have someone who likes to sell me a lot of heavily soiled items lately. But I do have a few new ones to purchase as well. They are very popular here in the shacks and can be set up out in the jungle to keep you up off the ground when you sleep. Though I dont recommend that to anyone, if they can avoid it."
"We dont have a lot of scholars around here, but there are a few smarty pants wizards, if you want to talk to any of them."
She looks around the place for a moment.
"I dont really have any books for sale. Dont get much call for them here. Did you want to order something specific?"

What are you getting for a soiled one? I'll take one down and wash it in the ocean and hang to dry. I'll take it. Forget the books . What about a hammer and nails?

The portly shopkeep produces what is ordered.
“This is my last hammer, and nails, but I could do, 5 gold for all three?”
The brown skinned human looks at Max closer, tilting her head to one side.
“You look.......Have I ........Do you know who I am? My name? Do you know my face?”

5 Gold it is Ma'am. Do I know you.? No I don't think so.....You do look familiar but I'm not sure. I am Maximus Fleetfoot and I do not know your name. I am from the City of Greyhawk. Priest and Mage of the Greyhawk City Order of the Knights of the Shield and apprentice Member of the Mages Guild of Greyhawk at your service.
He bows at the waist.

Nallissa takes it all in, staring at the elf intently as she takes his coins before responding politely.
"Well, that is really something isnt it? Knights of the Shield you say? That does sound important. Did you bring any others of your order with you? Or are you here alone?"
"I am called Nallissa, and I own this place now, I guess. I dont mean to be so forward with you sir, but you look a lot like someone else I have seen before."

Max
I am here alone. I have decided to try and set up a library and maybe establish a Mages Guild here. I am pretty down to earth and easy going. Try to look out for anyone hurt or injured as well as spread knowledge and learning through out the land. Not sure who that might be but I have no siblings as far as I know. it is really just a title not really that important. Back a few decades ago they were a very proud militant order representing all the Good in Furyondy. And I am just an apprentice in a big world.
