Well said everyone! Thank you. This is a really special group of players and of course our GM.
I couldn't agree more!
We're all good!

I found I'd made a construction error in building Yamaguchi Starport that meant the # of crew went down as I should have cut some unnecessary manufacturing capability. The overall income numbers were about the same, though I updated the post with the details, but the crew+residents level dropped from 1.2 billion to just shy of 900 million. The crew salaries dropped to match. Like I said, no impact as the production actually went up, but just letting you know. *GM slaps own hand for continually tinkering*

Just got word that James Carpio, the creator of Walt, passed away today. None of you knew him, but I felt I should say something.

You're referring to the author on Amazon?

He was a game designer and has some stuff there. He's mostly the player who created Walt for this game but only made a few posts before having to drop out, though.

Me, too. I've known him and his wife for a few years, and he was part of my remote gaming group. He had a bad ticker, and it finally got him. Makes me sad.

Not that Jealah is part of the conversation, but why can't the gate be relocated "up" or "down" from it's present position? I know Traveller maps are two-dimensional for playability purposes, but an object that doesn't emit energy could be parked above or below any star system and be undetected as readily as locating it somewhere in the galactic ecliptic plane.

It possibly can be. We have to live with the map as it is (2D) but I get the concept.
