Kravoud
"Yes. Your right. Let's go to that save cave you're talking about. Maybe this goblin will tell us more about the mines. Then we can do something about these goblins." He looks at the pile of metal. "Thank you for the offer, Grimnir, but I'm not going to deprive a fellow dwarf of his just reward. There's much we can still get from the mines through the force of arms and eradicate evil at the same time."
He heads to the safe cave with the others.

Re: Chapter 5: Harvest of Death
As if a sign from the gods you hear a bird call out, looking to the skies you see vultures circling where the read goblins and other monsters lie. The vultures circle waiting for their moment to land and feast.

"We are here for the red queen. While there may very well be a link between her and the mines, we should not forget our primary mission."

"The vultures are our ticking timer - let us move with this goblin", she says while obviously humming a tune.

Re: Chapter 5: Harvest of Death
Sensing the time has come to move off out of sight before something other than carrion birds spot them the group discusses while moving along to the cave Jivet previously scouted for them and indicated as a safe place to hold up. Once the group is far enough away from the dead the vultures swoop in for their feast! The group now sees this cave looks to be of a constructed type rather than natural. The entrance is smaller only about a 6' high 2' to 3' wide entrance about the right size for a rounded top door to fit in should anyone desire to do such. It then opens into a rounded room about 10' in diameter, with a couple passages carved off in the back. Those passages lead into two more rooms both not much larger than the main entrance these two rooms are closer to 12' rounded rooms. One looks like it could have been used for cooking and eating in but with the spiderwebs and dust you know this place was long ago abandoned. This room has a fireplace carved into a wall and a almost natural chimney into the cave wall not wider than a gnome, along with a large table and benches there is an old busted wooden barrel that looks as if it could have held water or just about anything. There is another passage going off the back of this room that is smaller and has old wood shelving empty save for some broken crocks and more dust and filth from years of lack of use. You suspect this might have been the store room for food stuffs. The other passage off of the entrance leads down a passage that has a couple rooms off of it one is about 10' diameter rounded and might have been a bedroom or something of the like as you notice what looks to possibly have been cots in the room and a broken table with some chairs. The last room is smaller and has a weird bench with two holes cut into them going down into the ground and a foul ogre like smell you are guessing that was likely the latrine area.
Basically for those of you familiar with The Hobbit or Lord of the Rings thing Bilbo's home (with less rooms) minus the huge round door change the entry to more of a typical home's entry. I'm sorry I did not cover this much detail earlier when Jivet scouted, or any alterations I have made since that description.

Re: Chapter 5: Harvest of Death
Searching the entire place then? DMG makes it sound like searching a 20' section of wall will take you at least 10 min. Doing some crazy rounded math in my head you would need to spend a fair bit of time doing this in the entire cavern space. Roughly 20 min or more per room not counting halls/passages. How would you like to proceed with your search?

Kravoud
"I'll mount guard near the entrance while you ask the goblin. I speak goblin in case you need me, but any dwarf with his salt does. Anyway, give me a shout if you need anything." The templar remains within the cave, but close to the door area, and will take a peek from time to time in order to avoid any nasty surprises from the rear.

Seeing that Weston needs her, she draws her short sword and while dancing around the goblin and at each point stopping with her sword near the goblin and speaking in goblin she says "If you .. do not answer ... my questions ... completely ... this will not end well for you. Where is your camp? Under what banner do you live?"

The Azuthite stands behind the goblin and casts his spells, nodding at Delsenora when done. He then steps back, keeping out of the way of the dancing elf, and her sword.

Re: Chapter 5: Harvest of Death
Searching & Interrogation
Delsenora, Weston & Xlore take the goblin into a spot in the cave and begin interrogation on the thing, intimidated the goblin wets himself, and shakes and tremors in fear. The dark elf asks questions starting with a threat or maybe a promise.. "If you .. do not answer ... my questions ... completely ... this will not end well for you. Where is your camp? Under what banner do you live?" the goblin gulps clearly intimidated by the two elves and the Azuthite. It' stammers "W..w...w..we s...s..s..slaves f..f..for q...q...queen. F...f...f...fortress b...b..big p....p...place in g..g...gorge." the goblin having answering the questions in backwards order.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Meanwhile Egon and Trist search for secrets and hidden doors or anything not obvious to the naked eye, with the aid of Jivet. Leaving Kravoud standing guard at the entrance with Grimnar and Therick. Guarding the trio can hear the vultures in the distance feeding. Searching for secrets and hidden "things" the duo and the fantastic Jivet find that in the passage that leads to the latrine there is door that blends in with the stone much like a dwarf or gnome would design pressing in a small rock in the wall the door unlatches and can be pushed open it leads out to another similarly concealed door and opens inward leading back out into the area near the gorge but at a different angle and would prove to be a great exit or secret entry to avoid prying eyes of the enemies in the area.
