I see the clock is already ticking on Obscurement. So I assume the spell is cast and Wes can take an action this round?
Correct. It would have appeared at the end of last round, but since the others wouldn't have known it was coming, I will let them post a pre-fog action.

Bonnie
As Bonnie lands safely after her wild ride, she wipes her hand off on her leg and tries to use her momentum to get behind the beast once more.
Chauncey's words ring true, and that, plus the incoming roar of Luther, convinces her to strike at the beast. She drops low and slashes at its tender hindquarters.
Long Sword (20) = [1d20+2] = 6+2 = 8, damage SM = [1d8+1] = 7+1 = 8 / L = [1d12+1] = 7+1 = 8

Wes
With the thick mist now hopefully blocking Wes from the monster's sight, the druid turns and runs towards the spot where he last saw Chauncey.
If and when he does find the mage and his captors, Wes slows to a walk and puts his club back in his belt. Raising his open hands, trying to look non-threatening, he gestures slowly towards Chauncey. "May we have him back please? We mean you no harm. We are sorry".

The Obelisk
Sunday, 21st of Goodmonth
Late Afternoon, Hot, Humid, Buggy
Wes allows his misty vapor to envelop him completely as it covers nearly the entire area of the raised platform. Once he is fully hidden from the huge monster, he rushes in the direction where he last saw Chauncey. Luther sees the cloud developing as he shouts at his scaly foe before simply rushing past the non-combative slizard. The big bearman needs to use his sense of hearing once he enters the druids cloud, but the way Boar-uss keeps grunting and wailing, it doesnt take much effort to figure out where he is.
Grim also sees the mist forming from his elevated perch, sticking his next crossbow bolt into a nearby tree branch. Bonnie is still close enough to the behemoth to continue her attack without having her vision obscured, but her slash isn't enough to break the thick hide of the stinking monster. She is raked badly by the things remaining claw,
6 dam and is nearly floored when she notices that the beasts withered arm is slowly starting to grow back in place. She is able to dodge the massive bite, but not by much.
Avaala makes an effort to pull Cealwyn's prone form a little further away from the fight so he isnt aslo killed by accident. Though it is impossible to see him, the mage must then return to the side of the obelisk again, because his voice can be heard there speaking the word
"candle" right in front of the tall, clear monolith.
Anyone still in hand to hand combat with the jungle troll can continue fighting with it well enough, but all that Grimm, Wes, Avaala, and Chauncey can see is a cloudy mist encompassing the platform. Though it definitely makes for good cover, the stiff jungle breeze is starting to cause it to dissipate slightly already. Wes and Chauncey attempt to parlay with the still chanting slizards, particularly the one in the orange smock, but the communication breakdown between the two parties persists. The pair holding onto the mage appear to be pulling out some twine to bind his hands while they each get a verbal tongue lashing from the struggling skinny human.

Bonnie
Many things and emotions occur at the same time for Bonnie. Elation at Luther appearing out of the mist. Pain as the claw rips through her armor. Terror as she recognizes the type of beast in front of her. Confusion as she hears Avaala speak. Enlightenment as she realizes why he spoke.
She knows she can't stand toe to toe with the troll. She isn't sure if Luther can either, but she has to play to her strengths. Bonnie continues the momentum from dodging the bite to try and disengage from the troll. She plans to dive and roll to the east side of the obelisk and circle around. (I assume she can see the light from the obelisk even through the fog. At least as a source of light.)

Wes
Wes tries to be forceful-but-not-aggressive as he continues his attempts to parley. NO. NO. Don't tie his hands." He shakes his head.
Fumbling in his beltpouch, he pulls out his silver mirror and offers it to the slizard shaman. "Here. Take this. It's shiny. You can see things. Look." He tries to maintain eye-contact with them. "His name is Chauncey. Chauncey Get Ready. You give him to me. I'll give you this."
Wes drops his backpack at his feet. "If you don't like that, maybe there's something else I have. In here".

The Obelisk
Sunday, 21st of Goodmonth
Late Afternoon, Hot, Humid, Buggy
Wes tries to get the slizards to unhand his friend by offering the shaman a gift, but the dialog appears a bit lost on the chanting creatures. The orange clad humanoid looks over the mirror carefully, confused at first, but eventually warming to the druids intentions. He holds his clamp-like hand out to accept the item, but his friends don't seem to understand the art of the deal, keeping the mage tight in their grasp. Chauncey tries to help.
"They have my arms pinned, Wesley. I must admit that even I feel somewhat useless without the aid of my hands and arms. Is there no way to better communicate with these........fellows?" He continues to struggle against the two stronger guards, to no avail, but Wes spots Mr. Wrenly suddenly rushing in from behind the mage and his captors.
The arboreal dwarf attempts to climb back down from his perch in the tree, snaps a branch off that doesn't support his weight, and falls about 10 feet to the ground....again.
4 dam The good news, he has made it back down to the jungle floor in the process where he now hides in the bushes.
Bonnie is glad to see Luther rush into the mist to help with the massive jungle monster trying to eat her. Unfortunately, his first attempt to injure it nearly turns disastrous, but the enraged bearman is barely able to keep his footing on the smooth stone. Up close and personal at this point, the ranger has no issues seeing through the slowly fading mist that still surrounds the battle. Bonnie takes the opportunity to slip away to the side, rushing around to find Avaala standing in front of the plaque she touched earlier. Treasure arrives on the scene next, flittering in the air above the mist near the beasts head where he squeaks out loud.
"I think I can get in an open shot on it, if you give me the word, master. I'm not afriad."
The crazed monster continues flailing around with its one remaining arm, missing with its blow on Luther, but catching him off guard with a nasty bite as he tries to stay on his feet.

Avaala the Grey
Hoping to save Luther, and simultaneously hoping Luther will keep the thing distracted from his other friend, Avaala thinks to Treasure, "Very well. Stay behind him and ready to flee, but take your shot." Looking up at Bonnie standing near, he says, "Paul's dead. Cealwyn's in very bad shape." as he nods to the ranger's fallen body. "I've tried to finish what you started, and .... what have we here?" Bonnie can see that Avaala is actually reaching inside the obelisk.

Avaala the Grey
"Hmmm....nothing." The Slizard-Looking Avaala says to Bonnie as he takes his empty hand back out of the Obelisk. "That tells me that either something should be placed inside the obelisk, or that someone has beaten is to what was inside."

Wes
Wes smiles and hands over the mirror, trying to look happy but wincing inside at the loss of such a useful tool. "Here. Take it. Now, he comes with me," he says firmly. Wes points at Chauncey and beckons him. He keeps smiling, pointing and beckoning.
Just in case Chauncey isn't released, after a few moments, Wes reaches down into his pack. He pulls out a vial of yellow liquid, keeping it concealed bin his hand. "Unfortunately I can't talk to them. And I don't have any more gifts. Except this. The very slippery oil from the temple. They can take it, or we can get it on you and you can wriggle away from them."

Luther
Luther attacks the Big Ugly (he hasn't realized it's a Troll yet).
attack [1d20] = 2
As he fails yet again, he continues yelling and swearing, trying to keep the thing distracted so someone else can actually kill it.

Grimm will keep his crossbow in hand and remain hidden, but ready, looking at the situation as best he can, considering the area of blackness covering most of the zone where his companions are.

Bonnie
Bonnie does a double-take at the slizard-Avaala. She's sure she heard his voice say candle...
After a few more words, she figures it out. The hat of disguises. "Ah. The riddle. Did something open when you spoke, or was that hidden? Nevermind. No time. That troll is winning. We need options."
She reaches in her belt pouch and pulls out a candle and hands it to S-Avaala. "Try this. I've lost my flint, maybe you need to light it? I need to deal with that boar."
Her internal clock winding down, Bonnie moves to where she remembers the boar being and puts it down.

Avaala the Grey
Nodding to Bonnie's suggestion, Avaala accepts the candle. He sets it in the opening, and waits a couple seconds. If nothing happens, he goes for his tinderbox to light the candle.

The Obelisk
Sunday, 21st of Goodmonth
Late Afternoon, Hot, Humid, Buggy
Wes nearly needs to cover his ears when Chauncey hears him suggest giving the slizards such a valuable gift just to release him. The shaman, still staring into the reflective glass, finally nods to his kin and the pair eventually release the mage as he shouts.
"Wesley! Plaese don't EVER say such things again. I could think up hundreds of better applications for such an item, though I bet a few drops of that oil would have allowed me to slip their grasp. Very good thinking, friend! Now put it away, man!" Mr. Wrenly gets close now, hissing loudly at the slizards as he approaches.
At the face of the obelisk, Bonnie and SlAvaala converse quickly about what else needs to be done with the plaque and its riddle. Producing a candle to try, Bonnie hands it to the scaly wizard before darting over closer to the huge boar, still under the constraining magic of the druid, pulling her blade in order to finish it off. Avaala sticks the unlit candle into the newly formed alcove, but nothing happens.
I guess we know what the two of you are doing next?
Unable to see through the misty vapors enveloping nearly the entire platform, Grimm decides to hold his fire until he can see better.
If he wasn't certain about the monster he's fighting yet, Luther gets another hint when 2 of the bolts Grimm previously stuck into the beast suddenly fall back out of their wound holes and tumble downward, bouncing off its hard bulbous green pot belly and landing harmlessly at the rangers feet. The oddity ruins his concentration and gives the monster an avenue for a second nasty bite into Luther's broad shoulder, ripping into and tearing away a good deal of flesh.
6 dam Treasure follows his masters commands, flying up around the head of the massive troll, trying to get a shot in with his very deadly tail barb. The beasts one good claw narrowly misses the tiny dragon with a defensive swat, causing him to also miss his mark on the back of the brutes thick neck. Treasure flits away slightly, ready to dive back in for a second attempt.

Wes
"Well, it was the oil, or things that go bang", Wes tells Chauncey, "so it's a good thing they let you go now".
Wes shoulders his pack again, slipping the coil of rope off the side of it as he does so. He moves away from the slizards, to avoid being grabbed.
Once he reaches a place he deems safe, he starts weaving another spell, knotting the rope as he does. "Obad Hai! Fill this snare with your strength and guile! Trap this dangerous creature that threatens us all!"
He's moving outside the ring of slizards, to a position level with the "9 o'clock" position of the obilisk. Then he's casting Snare. It has a CT of 3 rounds.

Grimm considers remaining for a while longer in his hiding place. He grits his teeth and mutters: "To Hell with it." He puts his crossbow on his belt and starts sneaking to the obscured area avoiding as much as he can being seen until he gets there or heard, trying to remember where Cealwyn fall, with the intention of dragging the fallen ranger out of there. The beast seems distracted with someone else now, so perhaps it'll work.
