Yes, CbtR is Gun Combat, Combat Rifleman. When I write computer code I use no spaces, and try to make things short so I don't forget how to spell them. :)

Per Mercenary ( Book 4 ) Slug Rifle comes under CbtR, and Pistol would cover revolvers and semi-auto slug pistols. Shotgun may be under CbtR, depending on Tiglath's interpretation.

These are all separate skills under the free CE book, which is what I usef to roll up Frank. I think most of you guys used the Mercenary book.

Awaiting Tiglath's response, as I have 1 rating in rifle and shotgun, if they get combined then I'd get rating 2 :-)

Ok, I've added rifle and pistol, just need to see what to do about shotgun.

I also ended up adding melee (slashing) and gravitics. Isn't vacc suit covered under zero-G?

I have a full rules CD winging it's way to me par avion.

The business profits of the Bartizan working as a "light airport" will pay for itself and your basic unit wages at a comfortable level.

And now you've cleared some space (Striker Bk 3 p.48):

Workshop: lncludes heavy tools required for major maintenance and repair of
vehicles, weapons, and electronics. Designed as a modular unit to operate while
loaded on any vehicle with sufficient cargo capacity. Weight: 2 tons. Volume: 16
m3. Price: Cr50,OOO.

Company Casualty Clearing Station: lncludes several cots, x-ray machines, limited
surgical tools, and supplies of plasma, whole blood, and drugs. Weight: 500 kg at
tech levels 5-6, 1500 kg at tech level 7+. Volume (when packed away on a vehicle): .4 m3 at tech levels 5-6, 1.2 m3 at tech level 7+. Price: Cr10,OOO at tech level 5-6, Cr20,OOO at tech level 7+.

Battalion Aid Station: lncludes an extensive assortment of medical equipment,
capable of complete treatment of light wounds and emergency surgery on serious
wounds. Weight: 1000 kg at tech level 5-6,3000 kg at tech level 7+. Volume (when packed away on a vehicle): 2 m3 at tech level 5-6, 5 m3 at tech level 7+. Price:
Cr60.000 at tech level 5-6, Cr 100,000 at tech level 7+.

You could hire Merc Surgeons (although they call it "Private Practice" ;) ) to staff the Battalion Aid station as necessary and/or hire it out to the City as another money spinner / nice little earner.

Of the above the Company Clearing Station's likely all you need for now (unless you outsource). I assume the below is its basic "ammo"/expendables cost per use of the Clearing Station post deployment.

Medical Kit: A medic's personal kit. lncludes bandages and an assortment of
anti-trauma and anti-infection drugs. Weight: 10 kg. Price: Cr 1000.

Note all of the above can pack up and deploy with you - if needed.

In the interests of admin call Shotgun combat Rifle skill if you wish.

So Rifle 1 + Shotgun 1 = Rifle 2

Then give yourself Shotgun 0 on your char sheet - the "autofire" bonus will give enough of a To Hit bonus - if ever you use one.

OK, thanks, I'll update my skills a little later. 8-)

I think we ought to do the 40k renovations, the workshop and battle aid station (both 7+ rating) for a total of 190,000 and hire the aid station out. I think it's worth the investment to get the return. We might want to think about getting the casualty station for 20k just to take with us. Frank will still put 20k in.

See above re: shotgun

Please count zero g as an additional level of Battle Dress (unless you'd rather have something else).

Might seem an odd shorthand "House Rule" of mine but otherwise you have marines who can't "do" ship's troops marines because they lack the trio of BD, vacc suit & zero G...

Can someone (not Prerna) "second" Erica treating Harry to mend his broken brain?

I foolishly "buried" this at the end of the old thread...

I'll have Frank do it, it makes sense to get Havelock's brain in order so he can give us answers, but we do need to keep an eye on him. The more he gets his faculties back the more he could run off.

As for skills... I'll take the extra level of BD.

My brain was slow, I just sent Shrike the spreadsheet URL. Does anyone else need it?

We have some shortfalls. This does not have Skip's skills.

Brawling (Have at 0?)
CmbtEng
Computer
Electronics
FA Gunner
Gunner
Ships Boat (Vehicle-Grav work for that?)
Survival (Only one person, and with a 0 level)

If we're on a water world, maybe Vehicle-Sub? While Gunner and Ship's Boat seem optional, it'd be a pain to be all defenseless and unpiloted when we're trying to get away fast.

There are a bunch of skills we're only one person deep in. Maybe we have both a basic training cadre and a "commando school" or whatever cadre? Down the road, anyway. Unless the fearless leaders want to get other units involved?

Take a look at the recruited mercs here: https://www.unseenservant.us/forum/view ... 849&t=9480

Dubs in particular has some useful technical skills. It might be worth adding them to the spreadsheet too.

What's combat engineering?

It's a sapper/pioneer role: making field fortifications, laying mines and sensors, expertise in spotting/assessing the same, etc.

I'd like sight of the spreadsheet when it's done please.

You'll find you are all short of "space" skills!

Alas, Grav Vehicle doesn't cover orbital/interface craft.

The team are aware that Erica East has demonstrated competency in Electronics, Medic and Pistol so she and Dubs offer some degree of "Tech Support".

You should have a link to it from a couple of days ago. I just added Caxton-Dubs, and Able-Charlie. Wasn't sure what to do with the B-Wing.

Hey checking in because I'm without power, low phone battery, and dealing with my second bout of malaria (it's ok, there are some very good antimalarials available nowadays at $4.50 a course!).
I can toss in 40000cr on the renovations, as for spreadsheet skills I can send them over to Leitz or he can take a look at my private sheet? I don't have anything on there to hide. I'll try to get a post out tonight if power comes back because I slept most of the day anyhow.
e: nm just got the link

I can take care of Skip, if you like. Get well!
