Damn - I didn't even get a day to make a reply. Let it be assumed then that Benson had the most and the best to contribute and was, as always, simply awesome

Too bad the forum didn't have add auto roll to the bottom every post... I get that it is not useful everywhere - but it would provide instant rolls always in every game for DM's to play with (even from the OOC ha!)

Mine is a Companion, not a Familiar.grey_starr wrote:Who has a Familiar? I liked this spell! Familiar Enhancer!
But perhaps that's a DM decision.

Re: OOC Thread
why did are we discussing familiars?
Gilnes has an elven cat pet/companion
Branc summoned a desert lynx familiar
these two examples of PC carrying around animals, have been the most generous I have EVER allowed with such.
Im usually resistant to familiars but ....my original DM allowed my dwarf (currently in the the Eye of The Serpent) to have a magical turtle and I know the fun ascpects of having them.
i clicked on that familiar enhancer link
my computer starting asking for add on blockage, allowance, etc...
i managed to get out of it, but i did see a black screen wth those words FE, just before exiting.
About two minutes later, i started getting attack warnings.....
Just saying, was paranoid and wasnt too happy about it.

Re: OOC Thread
I didn't click the link sorry you went through that. Yet glad I didn't click it. you know there was an article about thieves using turtles and candles to rob places. I think that was interesting we should try that with the dwarf that has a turtle lol
Ah here it is and I can assure you it is not a virus site. http://www.smithsonianmag.com/history/i ... -15821520/

Re: OOC Thread
If you mean MY familiar enhancer link - there is NO virus' on or from my site - it is likely whining because I had a "right click" block added in old code. Anything else would not come from grey-starr.ca

Re: OOC Thread
If Gilnes having a Companion is taking away from the group or campaign, I can always shift that 10 cp into some other elvin trait.
I was thinking the cat would make an amazing look-out or distraction to a thief. Not to mention the crimes it could assist with, and a fully powered elvin cat is very cool.
But if it doesn't suit the game, let me re-assign the 10 cp.

Im ok with that either way...
its your story.....if you want to keep it....go ahead and post actions for the cat....i may veto them or add some too...
but i really dont have anything based on it, at least not in THIS module.
or take the 10 pts....but we will need to come up with a reason that the elven cat is no longer in play....
sent away on a caravan?....kidnapped by the cult?
