"The gargoyle. There's a gargoyle statue in the room Elroie dissuaded us from investigating, claiming them to be traps. There is an indentation in the back of the mouth. He claimed that one of his previous companions almost lost his hand to the gargoyle in the other room. I detected traps on neither, but foolishly disregarded this fact."

"There must be something about the gargoyles he doesn't want us to discover."

BJ pops the lock on the door but waits to open it while Torbath moves closer to agree with Androns assessments of the situation so far. "Maybe there is something important behind the next door we found back there? Where the purple elves stopped."

There are muffled voices speaking from beyond the door, but the words are difficult to make out clearly from this side, as the floor continues to lurch and move underfoot.
