mention what to Max? :?:

Also, since Jackson is staying seated, is it too late for him to power up the weapons as Garvin is getting seated?

"Garvin... right.." he nods, flipping knobs, turning buttons.

i declare shenanigans! their is no way that much volume of air can be compressed into a flexible bag! No NO NO! total loss of believe-ability. i can take the talking insect people, the walking chea-pet bothin, the ray guns thet can be seen, the non-Newtonian space physics, but this! THIS hase gone tOOO far!

Fine we'll just have to go into ludicrous speed. I perish the thought of believably. I reject your reality and substitute with my own.

Fun fact: my wife has never seen a Star Wars movie, so all her Star Wars knowledge is from that film :D!

Onboard: Borsk and Clark

La'Reth is currently at the Pilot's station and the Co-pilot's station is open. There is also the Twin Laser turret station in the cargo-bay. The Pilot and Co-pilot stations have controls for everything; but the Fire Control for the laser turret is 0D at either station. The turrent station gives a Fire Control bonus of +2 for all Gunnery Rolls if manned. What would Clark/Borsk like to do?
I assume that Clark can help Borsk pilot from the co-pilot's station (hence the name :D)? If so, he will take that position and attempt to aid Borsk in piloting us out of the hangar without crashing. We can worry about gunnery if can survive the manoeuvering !

Well....depends on what you mean by 'help'....:)

Basically; both stations have identical controls and typically, one Pilots the craft while the other handles the Navigation (Astrogation); and watches the Systems (Sensors and Comms); and either might handle the Shields and/or weapons. For long flights; people can take turns.

In game terms; Clark has exactly +1 pip more in MECH (which covers all of the above mentioned skills) than La'Reth....a 2D+1 vs a 2D......so; either of you will have quite a time trying to accomplish EASY tasks (Difficulty 10).......this ought to be fun! :)

huh... maybe i should have started my character in that ship instead. like i was vivisecting the droid or crawling around the maintenance access ... is it too late to make a slight change to the universe? =)

you know, pull a "that's not a space station, that's a moon..." or a , "help me obi-wan watanabe..."

if it gets too bad, i can do a unscheduled, unprepared EVA, and jump from one ship to the other.

seriously, you can stay conscious in hard vacuum for about 20 seconds, before blacking out from lack new oxygen entering the blood stream. that's also not long enough to suffer any damage from swelling, or cold.

no, you don't flash freeze in space. since you have no atmosphere to take the heat energy away, you stay "hot" for a longer time then you do on earth. one of the biggest problems in space flight is keeping yourself cool, not warm. if you ever wondered why most space stuff is wrapped in tin foil? its to protect it from heating up in sun light.

Actually, I was basically 99.9 percent sure that Gavin was going to go running back to the Out Runner; leaving the Shuttle as an NPC ship (with you then becoming part of its crew when you sent me the IM).....as usual, as a GM I am ALWAYS surprised by my PCs! :)

.....In a way; it's actually a good thing; makes the Space Battle even more interesting as you've got the most capable pilot in the Fighter....per script....then the next bunch of guys who know what they're doing are in the slowest, least maneuverable ship with a bunch of innocents in the back.....and finally the Academic and Mystic in the middle capable ship; who can't fly a straight line between the two of them.....hilarity and the ol' Wildcard enter the mix! YAY! :)

this may end badly for the Out Rider. like the end of a Wile E Coyote cartoon.

Hey! I kinda wanted to build a new ship for the party anyway! =D

oooooo... Dr Jones! Dr Jones! .. your last post should have bin somehting like this...

" Professor, i didn't know you knew how to pilot a craft..."

"fly, yes......" flips some controls, making the ship swerve in the hanger bay, "land... no..."

Well my intent was the Out Runner but since someone decided to start flying the damned thing I figured a non-moving target was better than trying to "jump" into a moving one. Spaceballs was great I love that is the only start wars type reference you wife gets lol Mel Brooks I am a huge fan of. :D

Alrighty everyone; a few things to go over here!

First; I have made several posts; the most important of which are the last post for Episode III and the first post for Episode IV; please check them out!

Second: I have put up stats and a pic for the B-Wing and the Imperial Shuttle in the "Light Freighter: Out Runner thread if anyone is interested.

Next: For Crazy Ski; I make all the rolls off-line and then post the results….if you have any questions, please let me know!

Jedi: Your roll to use the Medpac failed; sorry! (I rolled an 8 on your 2D) You are currently still wounded; so at -1D for all actions.

At the moment; the TIE Fighters are at Medium Range from everyone's ship (so 15 to Hit if they don't evade); but it's pretty obvious they will be closing in towards you if a non-surrender option is chosen.

Also: Please check out the House Rules thread; particularly the last post for some important house-rules on Space Combat.(Mostly I'm talking about Shields and how to use them….or not…:) )

Finally: Everybody except Borsk has a Force Point…and Zinn has 2. Just thought I'd throw that out there! :)

Oh yeah….if I can figure out how to work it; I'm going to try and take some pictures using some X-Wing Miniatures to show the current situation a bit more graphically. I'm pretty computer stupid though, so don't hold your breath! :)

Everybody doing good?
