Saracen comes up to the downed bullman and asks if he can have its horns. Once removed he will wrap them up and tuck them away in his pack, search the creature for valuables and then move off with the others, picking up the Paladin if no one else does and throwing him over his shoulder.

Maag
For a fraction of a second, Maag almost feels a sliver of remorse for the brutal execution of the Minotaur. "Poor bastard never 'ad a chance". he mutters.
Then he shakes his head in disbelief. "Get 'old of yerself Maag! Next fing yer know, you'll be askin' Cresty to let yer join the Order of der Circle on a Stick or wotever it is".
Maag jumps down to retrieve his crossbow bolt. "Mind you, if 'e's got any more of dat stuff 'e puts on 'is 'air, it might be worth it". he muses.
Seeing Saracen hefting Crestbrook, Maag retrieves his bamboo pole and heads out back to the beach with the others. He cautions everybody as they go: "Watch out for der movin' trees".

Maag feels a touch of remorse for the brutal way his crew killed not one, but both of the minotaurs they encountered here in this strange stone circle. But once he sniffs Crestbrooks hair again, the feeling passes.
Gramble decapitates the beast for good measure, and if that wasn't enough, Saracen aggressively cuts the horns from the monsters head next.
Checking over the decapitated body, they find nothing of interest. This monster looks exactly like the first beast they killed, still rotting in a gory pile in the sun.
Retrieving their weapons and ammunition before collecting any other dead weight, like their paladin, the group prepares to head back to the cat infested beach to find their boatmen.
Maag warns about the trees again, and when the group gets to the lintel of stones that makes up the entrance to the circle, they see that a lot of the trees have moved. 6 large trees now stand on the outside of the path, 3 on each side. They don't look or act dangerous, but each of them has vines and branches that now dangle down, crisscrossing the area you will need to traverse to exit the stone structure.

OOC: to clarify, is it possible to skirt around the dangling tentacles of death or is that the only way through?

Saracen lays Crestbrook down for a bit. Perhaps we could throw the Minotaur bodies into the dangling branches and hopefully they will Be sated. the holy champion suggests.

Maag walks back into the circle and moves about fifty feet to the left. He looks to be sure that he is clear of the reach of any branches from the six trees. Once he's sure that he is, he climbs back up onto the rocks and waits to see what happens when the Minotaur's body is thrown out.

The cleric agrees with Saracen's idea. She for a tree to climb (other than the six mentioned) in order to scout the area and observe the six strange trees from a distance.
ooc: Is there a tree unlike the six nearby that Lerrick can climb? If not, Lerrick will stay back and observe. She also drags the paladin back

is it possible traverse through trees outside of the normal path? like make our way around through the forest

Lerrick agrees, finding no trees inside the stone ring she could climb.
Alordan and Gramble look for another way to move around the blocking trees, but that would require a climb over the ring of standing stones.
Maag struggles slightly, but eventually climbs back up onto the rock ring. From his elevated perch, he spots a few places where the rest of the group might be able to use a rope or thick net to help them climb out of the circle, avoiding the path completely.

Saracen will guard the others as they climb, keeping his eyes open for any danger coming from within the caves and also watching the trees alternately too. He keeps sword and Shield at the ready.
When it is his turn to climb he will do so.

With the help of the stronger members of the group, they are all able to climb up Magg's rope to the top of the stone circle. They eventually haul the unconscious form of Crestbrook up and over the standing stones as well. Before too long, the party is safely on the outside of the landmark and ready to return to the beach again.
The strange vine filled trees don't appear to follow them and they encounter no other opposition along their way back to the sand and cats. The many statues found on their way in silently watch the group as they pass through the jungle again. The 2 boatmen are still there, waiting patiently but looking a bit nervous. They wave you towards them once they see you coming, apparently more than ready to get away from this place as well.

Saracen will usher the others towards to boat, remaining at the back with sword and shield ready whilst the others clamber into the boat and get Crestbrook settled. Then he will turn and sheath his sword, heft the shield over the side and climb in.

Once he's sure nothing is about to leap out and eat them, Maag hustles to the boat with the others. He helps load everybody on board and offers to help with the rowing on the way back.
