Re: Queen Regeina's Ethical Philosophers Depart.
I offered them to take the horses and weapons/armor themselves to the camp I don't wish to go to their camp.

Im fine with not going to the camp. I was just going on the DM's hint about getting more information. The less people that see or hear about us the better I think.

I'm for letting them take any extra gear and horses and bringing it back to the camp themselves.

Taz and Banu
The party arranges to leave their spare equipment behind so the loyalists can come pick it up.
Taz says, You gentlemen have made a great contribution to the effort. I only wish there was something the loyalists could do to help YOUR mission.
The party donates
14 draft horses -- party has 1 spare horse.
4 light cross bow 44 bolts
16 leather armor
7 suits of chain mail
8 spears
4 long sword
4 short sword
4 flail
3 two handed swords
7 battle axes
9 daggers
EACH PARTY MEMBER GETS 300 XP BONUS, RIGHT NOW, FOR UNSELFISHLY HELPING THE LOYALISTS -- was the party's 1st unanimous decision.
Taz tells the party members about a Gnome who can help keep them safe. Taz tells the party that a Gnome named Dedalus lives in the hills to the west (GRID 24 R).
Dedalus is a loyalist, a genius, and an inventor. Tell him Taz sent you. HE will put you up for rest and perhaps give information about the Sparagmos Plain to the west, assuming you folks are headed that way, Taz says.
Fredricus the magician chooses to leave the party and join the loyalist camp.
The RIPs are back on the move headed _____(see pm) -- their original plan. Montego keeps the party off of the road.

next GM visit will be for over night or random encounter

Montego
Let's go south for a bit, find this gnome, and then head due east to the mountains. We are out of my neck of the woods now and I'm not sure where we will be able to cross this next river.
I also think we should agree more often.... it seems to be good for XP's.

Calen calmly tilts his head in thought, weighing on something, before finally speaking up since before the two soldiers arrived at this camp, his voice full and confident, "Alright, let's meet the gnome then."

D'oh. I thought we were discussing this via pm. Next time I should read the posts before my messages.

Before he does, could he perhaps please identify the Mysterious Mallet of Magog Baruch was given ? T.i.a.Fredricus the magician chooses to leave the party and join the loyalist camp.
Re: Queen Regeina's Ethical Philosophers Depart.
he can not. he never had an identify spell. If you choose to use it in combat I'll tell you what properties it has. Of course, this assumes some risk. Some weapons are cursed.Nordbo wrote:Before he does, could he perhaps please identify the Mysterious Mallet of Magog Baruch was given ? Baruch, discreetly to Calen: "Say, brother, could you sneak a peek through your helmet at this hammer I got off Magog back there; to find out if it is evil or not would help me avoid future possible moral/religious dilemmas - and, of course, further our joint cause"

To Find a Gnome
The party leaves the loyalists Taz and Banu behind after having made a great contribution to the loyalist rebels. They make a solid 13 miles that day. As the party makes camp the sky becomes awash with light and color.
The air feels electric. Images begin to appear and disappear in the air and on the land scape.
Overhead a great roar is heard and a strange sight seen:
Strange men, apparitions, appear and disappear. It seems that they are of flesh -- real -- but for a moment, then the apparitions become ethereal and fade.
Visitors in camp, but for a moment:
These men run past and disappear:
More that 300 miles away a great beam of light emits from the heavens and down onto the mountain range.
Svent, the party's lone magician, feels he has just witnessed a disruption in the planes of reality. Perhaps space and time were somehow disrupted.
All the party members are shocked. It was as a vivid, mass hallucination.
____________________________________________________________________________________
Montego the ranger helps the party move another 12 miles the next day(day 10). No one has been encountered.
The party has come upon a river again. It too is deep and wide. The party will need to build their own ferry. But Sanu has just this skill.
Sanu proposes felling as many trees as possible before night fall. In the morning, he will make a great raft of them, swim the river and tie a toe rope.
There are 10 or more hours of labor to be done (70+ man hours).
It is currently about 6 PM (SEE PMS for Grid location) and Sanu is felling trees.
Tomorrow the party can begin to look for Dedalus the Gnome.
Will the party make camp near the river?

Garrett "There can be time for that once we decide if we wish to make camp or not. I'm fine making camp near the river as it would be close to a source of water for cooking and drink as well as for the horses. But I am also fine if we wish to search for a better concealed camp location."
Svent "I still can't believe you all pass off what we saw as a hallucination. That was a ripple or disruption of the very fabric of space and time"

Re: Queen Regeina's Ethical Philosophers Depart.
Montego is silenced by his visions. He rides with his mouth open for a while not showing any concern at the moment about where to camp. What the...... is all he can say. Clearly he is shaken by this mass hallucination, more so than others it seems. It is all he has thought about.
Re: Queen Regeina's Ethical Philosophers Depart.
Baruch wobbles, topples backwards and lands square on his bum: "By Guth! By Aruman! By St. Cuthbert....and maybe even by Gruumsh! Did you see that...that anomalous apparition, Te Kang ? Surely the omen to top all omens. An omentuous omenity by the great omeneister!!!"All the party members are shocked. It was as a vivid, mass hallucination.

Titus stares at disbelief at the "vision". When its over he asks, "Are these woods known to be enchanted? Perhaps this gnome will have some answers to our questions, but if the fables be true, this sounds like the stories told about Horace Woo whose fortress we are seeking out."

Calen simply shrugs his shoulders as a response to the mass hallucinations that everyone is freaking out about.
He looks down at the hammer before looking back at Nordbo, "Not evil." He then helps Sanu with any lumbering needing done. He is content with camping on the river bank or with finding a more secure location, he leaves that choice to the others.Nordbo wrote:Baruch, to Calen: "Sorry to bug you again, but - as we discussed yesterday - I would be very grateful if your helmet could show if any evil vibes emanate from this hammer.
