Kit

It is unclear to me is Kit is still there, if he gets some shots he will take them (autofire)

Seeing the first target fall Klaus will adjust his aim slightly and fire on the remaining assassin

Frank

"Some kind of poison in their rounds! I'm OK. Also, they're on something from SUSAG."

He joins Klaus in an aimed shot at the remaining assassin.

Kit and Freya

Apologies I should have been clearer.

He's there but is likely "stacked up" on the stairwell with the rest of the infantry waiting for the "go" to start clearing rooms.

Freya's likely in the same position but working with her drone.

Frank and Klaus

In the accommodation corridor the firefight continues.

Both Frank and Klaus take aim as the hitman hauls his autosnub clear of its holster and lets fly. The round goes wide and explodes in the wall.

Klaus adjusts his aim and calmly puts a burst into the target's centre mass. All three rounds are solid hits and penetrate the high tech ballistic cloth armour. The man grunts, drops his heavy automatic and pitches forwards onto the hallway floor bleeding from three wounds. His thigh medikit seems to be active and administering some medical treatment.

Frank can easily finish the obviously wounded/stunned enemy or take an alternate action. The downed man is currently not an active threat - but that's no reason not to shoot him!

Just interrupting the action here to allow for player tactics/options.

Frank resists his darker instincts and decides not to shot the man

"Hold fire, a prisoner could be useful. Let's get him secured and stable, but be aware he has a SuSAG medkit and it could be pumping him with anything. Let's continue the sweep, I think there is at least one more."

Looking at the map, I think Frank will close to Klaus and check his room (door is open). Assuming clear and once the two are together we can proceed forward splitting left and right to check Prerna's and Jess's room, and a team can move forward to check the guest room.

Kit

Kit will be prepared to support as directed by his commanding officer.

Freya gives up on a drones as an option. Comms are screwed and until that is fixed, she's on her own senses.

Colonel - Have the other floors been checked? If not, Kit and I can check upstairs.

Jess responds with On it. and moves cautiously to disarm, restrain and check the fallen gunman.

Kit

Kit is ready to check upstairs.

Freya motions for Kit to proceed and moves cautiously ahead with him - leapfrogging as they go.

She has readied her bugs on fibre cables for checking corners and doorways, and hopes the grenades won't make too much of a scorch/hole on the decor if she has to use them.

As Frank checks his room Klaus cautiously eases forward to get a view of the corridor to the left.

Once the colonel comes to join him, he'll move towards Prernas' room while covering the route to Jess and the guest room

Kit and Freya

Aided by Freya's drones the pair make steady progress clearing the Penthouse suite. The roof is currently occupied by the scout/sniper team less Cpl Baker and Specialist/Marksman Easy who are also part of the "posse".

Frank, Jess and Klaus

The trio push forwards and note that Frank's door is still open. As they move up the corridor Cpl Baker calls "Got this, Boss. Push on" as he and Specialist/Marksman Easy move in to sweep Frank's room as a pair.

However, all immediate attention focusses forward/on the hostiles. Klaus moves up on point and checking right sees that while Jess' door has been forced the righthand corridor is clear. Checking left he immediately focusses in on two stealth suited figures who seem focussed on Prerna's door which is ajar. One is in a hunched kneeling position with his weapon held rather awkwardly while the other appears to be leaning back into/sat in the planter opposite Prerna's front door. There's something very still and undynamic about them both.

Meanwhile Jess reaches the casualty and medically assesses him - after instinctively disarming him. He has two lesser wounds to chest and torso but his real issues are a sucking chest wound (Nature's way of telling you've lost a firefight) and something else. Checking the diagnostics on his SuSAG issue medikit Jess sees that the kit is currently trying and failing to identify and negate a "neurotoxin unknown" whilst also dosing the patient with Combat Drug and Stim. Jess never took the Hypocritical Oath but she's quite sure that while this combo might very shortly revive the guy for a few minutes (at best) the "pharma payback" thereafter will send him on the Crazy Train Express to a Negative Patient Care Outcome. She reasons that "Medikit" might be a misnoma here. She notes that Tartar mooches up and and seems to be rendering first aid to Assassin C but is actually going through his pockets for small change. She also notes that both hostiles have fuscia coloured powder spattered over the intakes/filters of their respirators. She sees a ~10mm ball of "plant fibre stuff" coated with the same colour on the carpet next to her prisoner/casualty.

As she renders aid the cavalry troop sweep (almost majestically) past and into action to clear her room "Right, set? Kingy go left" "Corp" "Corp" "Uh huh, baby" "Corp, Shugs is doin' that voice wot brings me trouble on" "Shut it an' clear the ruddy room!"
